Our Gear:
We travel with a Microsoft Surface everywhere we go. I edit my videos on it & use it to backup my pictures and vides while we travel. It’s light and the best travel laptop on the market in my opinion.

We use Sony Alpha series cameras to film our videos. They are compact so you don’t look like a super tourist when you take great pictures and videos while you travel.

We use Manfrotto Tripods. They are compact, travel well, and honestly I would not use another tripod for my nice cameras.

Travel Plug that works in pretty much any country & has four USB ports. A must for any traveler.

Want to grab some great gear? We have used Osprey Packs for years & swear by them. Check them out here

Need some clothing for your next adventure? Patagonia has some pretty good stuff for all kinds of travelers.

Wonders of Tbilisi with Anna.YourGuide. Part 3.

Let's take a stroll through the charming narrow streets of the Old City in Tbilisi! Picture this city made up of these cute little lanes lined with wooden balconies hanging off old brick buildings. Walk through doorways that lead to secret courtyards, and check out those ancient vines casually climbing anything vertical they can find.

Now, in some spots, they've gone all out with renovations, almost like they're setting up a movie scene or something. But don't worry, plenty of these twisty alleys are still keeping it real, with their cracked and crumbly vibes that just add to the whole genuine and picturesque feel.

As you wander around Tbilisi, every turn gives you a taste of both history and what's happening right now. You've got these beautifully restored neighborhoods that feel like they've been frozen in time, and then there are these more worn-out alleys that spill stories of the city's past. Tbilisi's got a bit of everything, letting you dive into its different sides where the mix of old and new makes your travel experience a real adventure.

00:00 Begrüßung in Marakkesch
02:23 Djemaa el Fna
06:45 Marokkanische Küche auf dem Markt
11:18 Jardin Majorelle
14:04 Yves Saint Laurent Museum
14:34 Weltkulturerbe und Hollywood-Kulisse Ait-Ben-Haddou
18:08 Filmkulisse für Game of Thrones, Gladiator und Co.
21:14 Auf der Straße der Kasbah: Die Festung Ait Ben Moro
21:49 Beeindruckende Landschaft: Dades-Schlucht und Oasen
23:03 Foto Hotspot Todra-Schlucht
24:23 Marokkanische Kleidung und Henna-Tattoos
29:09 Kameltour im Dünengebiet Erg Chebbi
29:43 Essaouira an der Atlanikküste
33:03 Besuch des Markts und ein Koch-Workshop
39:52 Souk, der größte Basar des Landes
44:24 Verabschiedung

What is it like Driving In Morocco as a Tourist 2023

Here's our experiencing driving on the streets in Morocco, specifically around Fes, Chefchaouen, Ifrane and surrounds. In short.. watch out for lots of police traps!

REAL MOROCCO & TOURIST TRAPS

THE BIG ROAD TRIP IN OUR TINY HOME EPISODE 7

WE ARE LIVING FULL TIME VANLIFE IN AFRICA!

We are Nicky & Kevin. Just an ordinary couple who decided to try and make the rest of our years less ordinary.

Since March 2023 we've been living as nomads, we might be a bit late to start (we're both in our late 50s) but we didn't want to just drift the rest our life away in 'comfort'.

So, we handed the keys to the house over and instead have the keys to our campervan, Nellie - our tiny home on wheels.

In this series, we are on our biggest trip yet - a 6 month adventure outside of the UK - we started with a month in Spain and are now exploring Morocco.

In this episode we drive some stunning roads, stay in rural Morocco with a beautiful family, find a cracking campsite near the touristy Cascade D'Ouzoud before getting out into the hills on foot. And so much more......

We aren't young, we didn't build our own van and we try not to find drama to make our videos more 'clickable'. We are just us, a middle aged British couple with a sense of adventure and an unreliable GoPro camera.

We don't claim to be experts on this lifestyle, far from it, and we're certainly not travel guides, but hopefully we can provide some entertainment as we record our travels as full time vanlifers.

If it didn't cause a bit of anxiety every now and then, it wouldn't be an adventure!

A taste of Morocco from the National Tourist Board and Irish Travel Trade Fam Trip

A taste of Morocco from the National Tourist Board and Irish Travel Trade Fam Trip.

- - We've just taken off from the Dublin airport, on the Air Arabia flight, direct from Dublin to Agadir. Where myself and a group of wonderful Irish agents, from all over the country are going to be spending a few days learning just what this city has to offer to Irish travelers. - So, we're here in Paradis Plage Hotel, on the very aptly named Paradis Plage Beach, where we've just spent our morning learning how to surf, in the amazingly wonderfully warm waters. The beach is absolutely fantastic. You can go horse riding, camel riding, there is donkey trekking, everything and above that you could want, they have available on the beach. And it just stretches, for miles, and miles, and miles. And the hotel itself, we just got a tour of that as well, and it is absolutely spectacular. It's just a little piece of paradise. So, very very aptly named. This afternoon, we are off going to do a yoga lessons, and then we are going to have a little bit of chill time by the pool. So, it's gonna be a pretty good day ahead. - During our trip here to Agadir, we have been staying at the Sofitel Royal Bay Agadir Hotel. And I must say, its been absolutely fantastic. Our rooms are stunning, most of which, I believe, offer views of the horizon, meaning we are to enjoy these incredible sunsets every evening. The pool area, that you can see just here behind me, is absolutely amazing. We've been enjoying bar service around the pool, along with a shisha service, for anyone who would like to indulge in that, and you can just sit here and soak up the atmosphere. It is just fantastic. Also, the food has been absolutely delicious. We have set off every day with this amazing selection of breakfast foods to make sure we are well able to get on the road, and last all day long. - It's been a fantastic experience, fantastic weather, brilliant group of people, and we're in the Souk now, and it's loads of different eclectic mix of fruit, vegetables, trinkets, clothes, runners. You name it, it's got it here.

Morocco Vacation Travel Video Guide

Travel video about destination Morocco.
Casablanca is the largest city in Morocco, has the most important harbour in North Africa and is gateway to the magic of the Orient. In the Koran it says: ‘And Allah’s Throne Was On The Water !’ Thus inspired, the Grand Mosque was built on Casablanca’s shoreline. This monumental building was designed to accommodate 105,000 believers and its tall minaret dominates the city’s skyline. More than twelve million people helped finance this ‘Eighth Wonder Of The World’ which involved 90 engineers and 30,000 craftsmen and artists. Lying northwards along the Atlantic coast, is Rabat, Morocco’s capital and home to its government and royal family. The King’s Palace, the Palais Royal, is a town in itself. Surrounded by walls and protected by royal guards, since 1864 it has been the main residence of the Alaouite Dynasty which has been in power since 1666. To the south of RABAT lies Chellah, City of the Dead. The Merinde necropolis has a square tower and is surrounded by a wall made of crushed loam, proof that the Cathagers built a trading centre here in the 3rd century B.C. Amongst the tombs, the sarcophagus of Sultan Abou El-Hassan stands proud with its artistic engravings. Fez El-Bali dates back to the Middle Ages and contains narrow streets, a pungent mixture of scents, the penetrating sound of craftsmen and fine examples of the Moorish art of building. Travelling through the Atlas Mountains, the small town of Ilfrane boasts tranquil parks and ponds, modern residential areas and shady avenues which take the traveller by surprise. Just as with their ancestors over the centuries, even today nomads and their camels traverse the endless Sahara. For a distance of over 40 kilometres, the magic landscape of the sand dunes compares with the largest in the world. Finally, Marrakesh, dreamy city at the foot of the High Atlas and Morocco’s most beautiful city. What better location to end the fairytale that is Morocco!
