Best trail in Dili, Timor-Leste!
The trail “World Cup With Chickens” in Dili, the capital of Timor-Leste.
Riding “Close to God” on Mount Ramelau, The Highest Mountain in Timor-Leste
An epic 2,238 metre descent from the highest point in Timor-Leste. The established trail follows the ridge from the summit to the river below Nonomogue village: from high alpine forests, through grassy meadows and thick jungle. The trail is a mix of single track and fire roads, with a few more technical options along the way.
This is arguably one of the most stunning adventure Mountain Bike trails in the Asia/Pacific region.

Coffee is Timor-Leste’s largest non-oil industry, providing a livelihood for more than 30% of the Timorese people. Coffee grows in the high mountains of Timor, and among the coffee trees are countless trails just waiting to be discovered.
Narrated by Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, and the current president of Timor-Leste, José Ramos-Horta, the video showcases the people, culture, landscape of the coffee growing regions of Timor-Leste - and the vast potential for mountain bike adventures in this magnificent country.

In the Aileu region in the mountains behind Dili is Wild Timor Coffee. There’s fast, flowing trails on the ridges above their coffee plantations, which are tucked away in steep valleys. Wild Timor Coffee offers tours and can help with access to the trails in this region.

East Timor - Gleno - Mountain Biking River segment
With a group of famiy/friends on mountain bikes we did a lap of Timor Leste (north to south, south to north) nearly went the wrong way on a river segment heading out of Gleno finding out 'bonus route' (extra offroad segment on the trip). This part of the video was along a river before we hit the super-steep dirt hills.

Built mostly for access to local farming families, the trails offer unique adventure mountain biking opportunities. The high mountain jungles, extreme ridges, sandy beaches, and deep blue ocean, are all found within minutes of the heart of the city.
Filmed over the end of the dry season, and start of the wet season. The video showcases the stunning landscapes and amazing people of Dili.

Dili World Cup (With Chickens) - PoV Best Singletrack in Dili?
Right in the middle of Dili is the fast flowing Singletrack called World Cup (With Chickens). It’s earned that name because it feels like the closest thing to a World Cup DH track in Timor, but is often complicated by free-range chickens running all over the trail.
Strava segment is of the same name. This video is the current Strava KOM run.
