Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married 2013 and were super “normal.” I was a teacher and Nate started a small printing business from the spare bedroom of our apartment.
We discovered the world of “travel hacking” while planning our honeymoon & became addicted ;)
So after 2 years of obsessively saving $35k and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016 for a “one year” trip around the world.
Our goal was to see as many places as possible before we ran out of money and went back home to “normal life.” We started this channel to share our experiences with friends and family, but quickly fell in love with living on the road and found a new passion for capturing our travels through video. So we did everything we could to keep going.
4 years later, we achieved our new goal of visiting 100 countries and all 7 continents. We had no plans to slow down, until 2020 forced us to ;) Which is when we bought a converted van to start exploring our own country for the first time!
After ~2 years of van life, we are back to full time international traveling! And now we are finding the best adventures the world has to offer :)

NAZARE PORTUGAL ???????? MORE THAN JUST BIG WAVES (coolest place we visited in Portugal!)
Welcome to the big wave capital of the world! Nazare Portugal is one of the coolest places we've ever visited and we plan to go back many times. Yes, it is that good!!!
We're not surfers, but it is still incredible to see them go after these massive waves! We went to see them every single day and could have easily spent the whole day watching them try, fall, try, surf, and then do it all over again. It was pretty inspiring actually. But there's so much more to Nazare... as you will see in today's video.
If you ever have the chance to visit Nazare, do not hesitate to do it. Also, can't believe our Portugal travel series is almost coming to an end :'(

We use Sony Alpha series cameras to film our videos. They are compact so you don’t look like a super tourist when you take great pictures and videos while you travel.
We use Manfrotto Tripods. They are compact, travel well, and honestly I would not use another tripod for my nice cameras.

Ultimate Croatian Food Tour in Split, Croatia

Split, Croatia - After a full-day of discovering the best things to do in Split, Croatia; this afternoon we're heading out with Dino of Split Food Tours to get a taste of more Croatian food along the Adriatic coast.
We make five stops in total on this Ultimate Croatian Food Tour, and here's a little more information about each:
1. Dalmatian Prosciutto & Cheese - Our Croatian Food Tour begins literally inside the walls of Diocletian's Palace (Štorija Fine Dining) for some champagne and a few quintessential appetizers. The Prosciutto is from the town of Drniš; famous for their prosciutto making thanks to the dry bura (bora) wind that passes through the area.
2. Local Seafood - Next up, it's time for locally-sourced Croatian seafood at Leonis Restaurant right in old town Split. Delicious octopus salad and cuttlefish risotto were the two Croatian dishes we tried here.
3. Traditional Konoba - We first visited a traditional Croatian Konoba (tavern) on the Istria food tour, and this location didn't disappoint either. The star of the show was Pašticada; a slow-cooked Croatian food staple that is as delicious as it is hearty.
4. Burek - A Croatian food tour wouldn't be complete without a stop for Burek. The best place to eat Burek in Split is said to be at this place, St. Burek. I would agree.
5. Gelato - Last, but certainly not least, the final scene of this Croatia Travel Vlog here in Split is with gelato at Gallery Gelato.

It's my first time in Japan and one of the main things I wanted to do while I was here was to check out a capsule hotel. 9 hours hotel in Shinjuku was the one I heard the most about, so I was excited to try it. It only costs $40 per night which is a steal and super ideal for a solo traveler on a budget. Check out the video to see my kinda crazy night at this toyko capsule hotel.

10 things you must do when you’re in #busan south korea.
First, check out the most famous beach in all of South Korea – Haeundae Beach. This urban beach provides a place to unwind from the hustle and bustle of Korea’s second largest city.
Then check out the bright colored house of the iconic Gamcheon Culture Village.
Take in some breathtaking sights from the inside of the Busan Air Cruise, departing from Songdo Beach.
Hungry? Then head to BIFF Square – home of the Busan International Film Festival for some of the best street food in the city.
Or head to Jagalchi market – Korea’s largest fish market.
You might even discover some unique looking items!
Next, unwind by heading to Haedong Yonggungsa Temple.
This is one of the few temples facing the ocean, and was built in 1376.
It’s almost mandatory that you visit Busan Tower.
If you’re BTS Army, you’re in luck. Hit up Jimin’s former elementary school, or café magnate – which is owned by Jimin’s father.
Busan is home to many traditional markets, home to mouthwatering foods you’ll have to taste to believe.
