Apart from vlogging on YouTube, I run a video production company specifically for hotels and travel destinations. I have recently produced a promotion video for Baltschug Kempinski - a luxury hotel in Moscow.

In this video, the viewer takes a journey throughout the hotel, like an invisible person. He will explore the hotel form secret angels, often hidden to an ordinary guest. He will notice little details that make each stay at Kempinski unforgettable.

Below you can find my approach as a producer for this particular film.
The hotel has required a promotional video to maintain brand awareness. Baltschug is the first purposely built hotel in Moscow.
At the pre-production stage, we sent our treatment for approval to the hotel's marketing team. Having this agreed, we confirmed the schedule involving different hotel departments (Food and Beverage, Housekeeping, Front Desk, etc). This has allowed the production goes smoothly and to complete the filming within 2 days.
The property operates by Kempinski, Europe’s oldest luxury hotel group. Therefore, each and every shot was carefully thought out to adhere to the highest brand standards.

Luc Schurgers, director/CD at Minivegas in LA: The King Kong 360 3D ride at Universal Studios Hollywood features a fight between King Kong and T-Rex. It's truly an intense experience and the concept was to visualize how the first impression stays with you for the rest of your life.
The first challenge was to cast people of different ages that looked like they could be one person. Our initial idea was to cast real families with a kid, father, grandfather and great-grandfather as we assumed they would all look alike. This was quite a disappointment as none of them really looked like family.
We also wanted to make the transition visible and not too seamless; we liked the gradual popping of certain features, but this was a very fine line to get right. We also wanted to keep the face 'alive' so we shot it with a lot of movement and this all had to be matched up. We aged a 14-year-old boy through three other actors and a couple of in-between stages of prosthetics.
The prosthetics team created the required in-between stages while the other actors were being filmed. This allowed for very little downtime on set and a smooth one-day shoot. The original actors and their prosthetic older-selves were then all merged together in Flame. To polish things off a full CG beard was added that perfectly blends our last two actors together. Once this was completed, it was put together on Nuke and graded in SpeedGrade.

Day in the Life of a Japanese Game Illustrator
A day in the life of a Japanese Square Enix Game Illustrator. Square Enix is one of the top video game developers in Japan, creating ultra popular titles known-worldwide such as Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts and making it all happen, 3700 hard working employees. Today, we follow a Japanese Game Illustrator working in the Japanese game development company from morning until the evening. We show what a typical work day in Japan would be including her typical work hours as a Japanese game illustrator working for Square Enix. We also see her morning routine and after work hobbies. Also this is what it would be like working for a popular Japanese game company and the different staff you may come across during a typical work day. The Japanese game industry has so many different jobs so it was great to be able to show another job outside of game development and game programming. Rubi has been working as a video game illustrator in Japan for 6 years now. Even as a little girl she loved to draw but growing up couldn’t envision a proper career where she could pursue her passion. So she entered University majoring in a completely different field, but when her job hunting started, she discovered that there were prestigious Japanese companies were offering illustration jobs. Recognizing the opportunity, she convinced her parents to let her study Character Design at a Professional Training College, ultimately leading to her dream job at her current company, Square Enix and working with Art Directors like Toshiyuki Itahana.
