Some clips of a 2-day visit to Pendjari National Park in northern Benin during February 2012. Unfortunately, I had a much less fancy camera back then, but I think the video gives a good impression of this beautiful nature reserve. You will see African Elephants, Hippos, Western Buffaloes, Kob, Defassa Waterbuck, Bushbuck, Roan Antelope, Western Hartebeest, Olive Baboon, Patas Monkey, Warthogs, Nile Crocodiles, and some birds (e.g., Denham's Bustard, Black Crowned Crane, Abyssinian Roller, Marabou Stork, and African Fish Eagle). I wish I could travel there again!

The birding in Botswana is second to none, and especially so in the summer months of December to April. Our videographer, Dave Jackson, recently spent some time in the Okavango Delta and Chobe National Park and got some fantastic footage of these beautiful birds.

Photographing amazing small birds in Tanzania is the video of our last day in Tanzania in 2019. After visiting Ngorongoro Crater (watch our latest video Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania Safari, lions attack attempt Full HD DJEK5DZdKKo) we went to Marera Lodge, a lodge on the way back to Arusha, with a swimming pool and a beautiful garden full of flowering plants. We dedicated the evening before leaving Tanzania to bird watching in the garden. On the flowers were an incredible number of these amazing small birds with flashy colors, sometimes reflective: the nectarines. They are small birds. The male is usually slightly larger and has more vibrantly colored plumage, often with iridescent metallic highlights, while females are less showy and have shorter tails. They are characterized by a long and thin beak and are very fast in moving. They never stand still, they keep flying from flower to flower. We spent several hours with this special bird and tried to photograph it in all poses.

Photographing amazing small birds in Tanzania è il video del nostro ultimo giorno in Tanzania nel 2019. Dopo aver visitato il cratere di Ngorongoro (vedi il nostro ultimo video Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania Safari, lions attack attempt Full HD ) ci siamo recati al Marera Lodge, un lodge sulla strada per tornare ad Arusha, con piscina e bellissimo giardino pieno di piante fiorite. Abbiamo quindi dedicato la sera prima della partenza dalla Tanzania a fare birdwatching in giardino. Sui fiori c'erano una quantità incredibile di piccoli uccelli con colori vistosi, a tratti catarinfrangenti: le nettarine. Sono uccelli di piccole dimensioni. Solitamente il maschio è leggermente più grande e ha un piumaggio con colori più vivaci, spesso con riflessi metallici iridescenti, mentre le femmine sono meno appariscenti e hanno code più corte. Sono caratterizzati da un becco lungo e sottile e sono velocissimi negli spostamenti. Non stanno mai fermi, continuano a volare di fiore in fiore. Abbiamo passato parecchie ore con quest'uccellino speciale e abbiamo cercato di fotografarlo in tutte le pose.
