BANGLADESH IS SURPRISINGLY BEAUTIFUL! (incredible floating market)

✈️ We created FareDrop to help you score super cheap international flights! Try it risk free and get flight deals up to 80% off ➡️ ⬅️

WHO KNEW Bangladesh was THIS BEAUTIFUL?! Watching the sunrise from our boat as we drifted the floating local market is our favorite memory in Bangladesh.

After spending a couple days in the crazy capital of Dhaka, we took a 100 year old rocket paddle steamer boat overnight to the city of Barisal where we woke up before sunrise to catch all the action at the local river market!

River life in Bangladesh

People associate Bangladesh mainly with Dhaka - traffic, crowd and noise. But this country is so much more! In south everything feels wild and untouched. Bangladesh is definitely a special place and it will stay in my heart as of the the most authentic places I have visited. Watch to see why :)

Lots of love,
Anna

We paid $26 to sleep in a First Class Cabin on Bangladesh's 100 year old Rocket Paddle Steamer! Would you do it?

We are currently in our 97th country of Bangladesh, and after spending our first 2 days in the crazy city of Dhaka, we boarded this 100 year old ship to sail overnight to Barisal. Paddle steamers have been traveling Bangladesh’s rivers since the early 1900s, but today there are only 3 left in service. The river is filled with hundreds of modern ferries that are faster and more comfortable, but tonight’s journey isn’t about the speed or the comfort, it’s about experiencing a way of travel that has remained unchanged for almost 100 years!

The Man Clearing 9,000 Tons of Trash From Mumbai’s Beaches

Over three years ago, Versova beach in Mumbai was little more than a dumping ground for garbage and waste. After witnessing the devastating impact the refuse was having on the ocean, Afroz Shah decided to take matters into his own hands. What started off as a single man’s mission to clean up his favorite childhood beach turned into the world’s largest beach cleanup initiative. As of today, Shah and hundreds of volunteers have cleaned up over nine million kilograms of plastic and waste, with hopes to expand their initiative to other beaches in the future.

The MOST BEAUTIFUL place in BANGLADESH!

Visit Srimangal, Bangladesh in 2022 to find Madhabpur Lake and tour the stunning green tea Gardens of Sreemanga, part of the Sylhet region, north of Dhaka. If you're considering Bangladesh travel, watch my EPIC DRONE FOOTAGE of Madhobpur Lake and the green tea gardens surrounding it, awesome pineapple farming villages, local markets, and Bengali fishermen hitting the water.

On my Srimangal tour, I search for the elusive gibbon monkey in Lawachara National Park, crash a village wedding, feast on delicious Bengali food, and meet a 100-year-old grandmother who smokes a pipe every day!

I loved Bangladesh travel and can't wait to return to visit the best places in Bangladesh including The Sundarbarns (to see the Royal Bengal tiger!), Cox's Bazar, Chittagong, Rangamati and Kaptai Lake, Bandarban, Saint Martin, Paharpur, Kuakata, Gaur (Lakhnauti), Bagerhat, Barisal, Rajshahi, Bogura, Khagrachari and Sajek Valley

Guava Floating Market (and drone crash) Barishal Bangladesh ???????? Travel

#bangladesh #travel #dodoexplorers
Bangladesh is a country that surprises us more and more. Barisal, the Venice of Asia is home to the largest floating market in Bangladesh. The Bangladesh floating market is located near is the Barisal district. The market is a traditional and rather unique one, in that it features boats as storefronts for shops selling various products and foods.

In the misty morning this is the perfect place to be and have a drone crash right in the waters of the floating market. Was there anyone to help us? Did Michael jump into the floating market waters to rescue the water damaged drone in front of all the village? You'll just have to watch and check it out for yourself.

Keep exploring!

00:00 Barisal floating market

07:31 Michael saves the drone and the day
09:15 Thanking the villagers of the floating market

AMPHAWA FLOATING MARKET - BANGKOK

AMPHAWA FLOATING MARKET - BANGKOK
