This is a Food guide to great food, low price and local joints in Amman Jordan during my visit in July 2022. Food is somewhat reasonable but when you go out to real trendier restaurants of lounges, the prices are like western countries and there is service charge and tax added to bill. If you go to local places or fast food, you can eat fairly cheaply.
We ate so much here and OD'd on food esp street food. It's a fun place to travel.

Tour of the impressive ancient Roman Amphitheater in Amman | Trip to Jordan 2023
In the Jordanian capital of Amman, the 6,000 seats of a 2nd-century Roman amphitheater bear witness to the importance of what was then Philadelphia, the City of Brotherly Love. Commissioned by Roman Emperor Antoninus Pius, the north-facing landmark is divided into three distinct sections from which ancient audiences saw plays and modern audiences heard concerts. Amman's iconic amphitheater is indeed a perfect venue for such events (except for the steep and sometimes slippery stairs), as the Romans were masters of acoustics. There is a small marker between the stage and the seats, and if you stand and speak at that spot, your voice is projected throughout the stadium. However, the excellent acoustics are not the only hidden gem of this archaeological wonder. On the side of the stage, a small door opens to the Jordanian Museum of Folk Traditions, where dozens of ceramics, traditional Bedouin clothing, jewelry and trinkets are on display. My Jordan 🇯🇴 Itinerary in Description! Amman, Petra, Wadi Rum, Aqaba, Dead Sea 🌊!
Travel to 🇯🇴 Jordan! So much to offer
My suggested itinerary: 1. Start with Amman! 3 nights 2. Drive to Petra 4 hours (be careful of 🎫 lol - lots of 👮♀️ on the highway!) 3. Drive 2 hours to Wadi Rum and stay at the Luxotel Bubble Hotel for one night 4. Drive to Aqaba (Red Sea) for 2 nights 5. Drive 5 hours to the Dead Sea - 3 nights as there is also a lot to explore in the area (like Jesus’s Baptism Site and Mount Nebo) 6. Back to Amman to fly out to the next stop!!
JERASH Jordan - The Abandoned Roman City - July 2022
Only 45 min from Amman, this is a great day trip. Hire a driver and let them wait for you. This should cost you about 25 to 40 JD. Or take a JETT bus there from the north station in Amman.
