The Don'ts of Travel Playlist:

The Shocks of Travel Playlist:

We travel with a Microsoft Surface everywhere we go. I edit my videos on it & use it to backup my pictures and vides while we travel. It’s light and the best travel laptop on the market in my opinion.

We use Sony Alpha series cameras to film our videos. They are compact so you don’t look like a super tourist when you take great pictures and videos while you travel.

We use Manfrotto Tripods. They are compact, travel well, and honestly I would not use another tripod for my nice cameras.

Travel Plug that works in pretty much any country & has four USB ports. A must for any traveler.

Want to grab some great gear? We have used Osprey Packs for years & swear by them. Check them out here

Need some clothing for your next adventure? Patagonia has some pretty good stuff for all kinds of travelers.

10 REASONS to move to BELIZE

No place is perfect. This is a developing country where the roads are rough and the ability to get things done can be quite stressful. But if you make an educated decision to move here and honor a few basic safety measures, you will find living in paradise a reality. Not to mention, a lot of the things that are irritating now are in the process of being changed and in five years you will not believe it is the same place. When we first moved here, Belize was a third world country. Now it is a developing country.....with more utilities being installed, the paving of roads, bigger and better supplied grocery and hardware stores, not to mention computerization in government offices. So what are YOU waiting for? Prices never get cheaper and unique properties disappear from the market quickly as they are bought to fulfill the dreams of someone else. Let us help you make an educated decision with a much smarter, easier transition to your dream life.

My sad experience of Belize City - No one deserves to live like this.

My sad experience of Belize City - No one deserves to live like this.

I say it is my sad experience in Belize because the place that I will be taking you today, I don't think any human being deserve to live in such a place or even in such a condition. And I also think that, if you see the place I'm going to show you, you might slow down when you complain.

Every country in this world, if peaceful is has the potential of being a paradise; and yes Belize is a paradise but only when you can afford it. I've made a lot of videos showcasing the amazing tourist attractions Belizeans are blessed with but in this video I will like to show the struggles on the other side. First to raise awareness and second, to reach out to get help for the residents of Antelope Street extension in Belize City.

8 Reasons Why Americans LEAVE Costa Rica [Why I Left]

The TRUTH about living in Costa Rica: Why do so many Americans leave Costa Rica after moving there? In this video, I explain what causes expats to change their minds about retiring abroad and why I left Costa Rica after 8 years. Some of the initial reasons that people want to move to Costa Rica include the moderate climate, laid back lifestyle, fresh and healthy food, friendly people, beaches, medical tourism, and the low cost of living. But is Costa Rica really a safe and friendly country or is it actually dangerous and expensive? Once they arrive, many people realize that living in Costa Rica wasn't quite what they expected. Unfortunately, that results in people returning home quite soon after arriving.

After helping more than 500 foreigners move to Costa Rica and living there for eight years, this video explains the top reasons why people move back to the USA and why I left, too, so that you know more about what to expect BEFORE you get there. This is the real and sometimes dark truth about living in Costa Rica. What do you think are the biggest pros and cons of living in Costa Rica? Let us know in the comments.

An Update on Life in Belize in 2022

Dan Prescher sits down with Shane Kenny to discuss the current news updates in Belize. Shane and his wife Heather moved to Placencia three years ago and opened the Placencia Beach Club. This gives him a great vantage point on what’s happening in the country.

Shane talks about some exciting flight developments including a new Alaska Air service running directly from LAX to Belize. The airline also offers a direct route from Seattle to Belize during the high season. Along with this, Air Canada and Westjet will shortly resume direct flights from Canada. These flights are helping to make Belize more accessible to North Americans and the country is already experiencing an extended tourism season—visitor numbers remain high well after the peak season is over.

Digital nomads have cause to celebrate with the introduction of a Belizean digital nomad visa, or as it’s known, a “work from where you vacation” visa. The visa allows potential expats to “try out” the country for six months before making a firm commitment, without the need for stamp renewals or work permits. Shane discusses why he believes this is so beneficial for expats who can now get a feel for Belize before making a permanent move.
