🔷Parc de Josep Maria Serra Martí🔷
The Josep Maria Serra Martí Park is located in the Nou Barris District of Barcelona . It was created in 1994 by Cinto Hom and Carles Casamor .
The park is dedicated to Josep Maria Serra Martí (Barcelona, 1927-1991), an industrial engineer and socialist politician , who was Deputy Mayor for Urban Planning and Municipal Services of Barcelona and one of the promoters of the 1992 Olympic Games.
The park is located in the Canyelles neighborhood , touching the Ronda de Dalt . It is a neighborhood area, where one day a week an open-air market is organized. Being on a terrain with a certain unevenness, it is structured in platforms separated by green slopes, with a multipurpose esplanade in the center. The nerve center of the park is the Manuel de Falla Magic Fountain, the work of Pedro Barragán , made up of a pond that houses a metal platform from which the water cascades down, and two large rocks next to some water jets; It also has games of light and sound, hence the name magic fountain. Also on site is a sculpture of a bailaora flamenco entitled Joys, by Ignasi Farreras . The park also has a children's area and ping-pong tables .

🔷Parc de la Trinitat🔷
The park Trinidad (in Catalan , Parc de la Trinitat ) is located in the district of Sant Andreu in Barcelona , within the space formed by the Nudo de la Trinidad, a major axis road connecting the Ronda de Dalt with El Litoral , bordering the municipality of Santa Coloma de Gramanet . It was created by Enric Batlle and Joan Roig in 1993.
The park is circular in shape, due to the space formed by the Trinity Knot. With 14,000 trees, the creation of the park placed the Sant Andreu district in fifth place in number of trees by city district. In the center of the park stands a hill covered with trees, designed to muffle the noise of traffic. At its feet, there is a 245 m long lake, semicircular in shape, which was navigable at the beginning, although nowadays it no longer has boats. From the lake stands out the sculpture Woman Bathing , by Rafael Bartolozzi , while in the wooded area there is the sculptural frieze Runaway Horses , by Joaquim Ros i Sabaté . There is also an amphitheaterfor 500 people, an urban garden, a picnic area with barbecues , a bar, sports areas, a children's area, a car-modeling track and bathrooms.

🔷Nou Barris district🔷
Nou Barris (in Spanish , Nueve Barrios ) is a district of Barcelona located in the extreme north of the city, between the Collserola mountains and Meridiana avenue.
Politically, the district experienced strong activity led by neighborhood associations throughout Francoism , in response to the disorderly urbanism and developmental imbalances of the 1960s and 1970s . The name of the district was put in 1984 when the Barcelona City Council approved a new territorial division of the city, and comes from the head of the magazine 9BARRIOS , published by the first neighborhood association in the area in the early 1970s. . An important part of Nou Barris was within the old District 9 , together with part of the current San Andrés district .
One of the most impressive buildings in the district was the initially called Madhouse of the Holy Cross, more recently known and until its closure in 1986 as the Institut Mental de la Santa Creu. The original construction designed by Dr. Emili Pi i Molist (1824-1892) and by the architect Josep Oriol Bernadet (1811-1860), was one of the most brilliant examples of moral madhouse architecture in Europe. The building remained intact until 1970 , and its patrimonial value was much higher than other Oriol and Bernadet projects, such as Can Ricart. Designed between 1855 and 1860, its construction began in 1886and it didn't end until 1910-1915. It was surrounded by a 120-hectare farm, in which the future neighborhoods of La Guineueta, Canyelles, part of Verdún and the Peguera area would be built, after a speculative process that began in 1955 and ended in 1977 . Currently, part of the old building is in use by the Nou Barris District Municipal Council, the Nou Barris Popular Library, one of the largest in the city, the offices of the municipal company PRONOBA, a service center for homeless people, the district's user service office, the Guardia Urbana headquarters and the housing access information office.
In 1999 , the first phase of the Nou Barris Central Park was inaugurated and currently has an area of 17.7 hectares , being one of the largest parks in the city. (from Wikipedia)
