Zvornik - Bosnia and Herzegovina (4K)
From my summer 2023 vacation road trip.
I drove first to Turkiye from Finland and then I went to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Whole distance for my trip was 8116km (taken with a trip meter), average consumption was 5.8L/100. I could recharge only 5 times in whole trip and 10 places I stayed over night, I couldn't recharge. It would have effect to that consumption quite a lot I think if I could have recharged my vehicle at every place I stayed. Also I recharged at least once to my car while driving and that also increased the consumption.
Sadly because it was mostly really warm sunny days and I used 2 channel recording, my dashcam overheated time to time and I couldn't save all nice moments and every beautiful places on my trip, but next time I will use one channel only and keep cold air blowing to the front unit to keep it as cold as possible. Also maybe next time I will take economical routes to get more beautiful places to my videos. Doing this still is great opprtunity to practice how to do these videos and how to use video editor what I have.
I hope that you will enjoy my jorney!

Castles and fortresses in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Originally made of earth and wood, later castles were built of stone, so many still survive today. Spanning a period of 900 years during the middle ages, castles come in many styles of architecture and design. Despite their differences though, they all have one feature in common-- they are fortified. Castles are defensive structures specifically built to withstand attack in the medieval world. Technologies such as arrowslits, murder-holes, and moats further improved their capabilities. Castles finally fell out of favor with the advent of gun powder, as offensive technologies, such as canons, rendered castles largely obsolete.

Sapna: The Heroic Town In North Eastern Bosnia You Need To Visit
Sapna is a heroic town in north eastern part of Bosnia, located on south eastern slopes of Majevica.
During the aggression against BiH, part of the then municipality of Zvornik, i.e. today's municipality of Sapna, was organized in a very efficient manner and survived as a free territory.
Two of Bosnian hero's died in this part of Bosnia.
Hajrudin Mesic was a member of the Patriotic League, organizer and leader of the resistance to the aggressor in northeastern Bosnia. He died on October 30, 1992 in Nezuk near Sapna, in the action of establishing a corridor towards Srebrenica.
Mehdin Hodzic was popularly known as Captain Senad and Black Swan. He died on May 10, 1992 in the village of Zaseok in Sapna, where thanks to him one of the first victories of the future RBiH Army over the aggressor forces was won. In that action, Captain Senad and his comrades captured the first tank and a self-propelled gun for the BiH Army.
It is known that people have lived in the area of Sapna since ancient times. Sapna as an administrative-territorial term is mentioned as early as the Middle Ages.
Evidence of the active life of people in the Sapna area is the numerous stecci that are still found today in the settlements: Handjelica, Međeđa, Gornja Sapna, etc. In the Middle Ages, Sapna represented an important communication area between the then cities of Zvornik and Teocak. With the arrival of the Ottomans in these areas, Sapna was mentioned as the nahija of Sapna, which belongs to the Zvornik sandžak, which was founded in period between 1478 and 1483. years.

Nacionalni park Drina - Bosna i Hercegovina - Hiking Tours | Go Bosnia & Herzegovina [4K]
Hiking Tours (Episode 13): National Park Drina;
Drina National Park is the fourth and at the same time the youngest national park in Bosnia and Herzegovina, founded in 2017. The park covers an area of 6,315 ha (hectares) and is located in the municipality of Srebrenica.
Deep and steep canyons, through which flows the strong and mystical river Drina, are the habitat of many endemic and protected plant species, especially Pančić spruce, which is the greatest wealth of this area.
Together with a group of mountaineers PD Visočica from Sarajevo, we visited this beautiful area and participated in the opening of one of the hiking trails that leads you through beautiful forest trails from the lookout Sarena bukva to the lookout Grad with a unique view of the river canyon. Drina and the famous U curve.
The valley filled with fog showed us why the Drina National Park is such a unique and mystical place and why you should visit it.
...
PD Visocica is a mountaineering association based in Sarajevo, named after the mountain of the same name. It is one of the most active societies in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
...
Bosnia and Herzegovina is a beautiful country with enchanting nature that will leave you a lot of priceless memories if you indulge. Planinarske ture (Epizoda 13): Nacionalni park Drina;

Ostrazac Castle| Cazin| Bosnia Herzegovina| Serbia @JourneyistGlobal
Ostrožac Castle (Bosnian) is a castle located in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Una-Sana Canton just outside the town of Cazin, in the village of Ostrožac. The castle dates back to the 13th century when Ostrožac was part of property of the noble house of Babonić family. In 1592 it was captured by the Ottoman Turks and established as an Ottoman province of Bosnia. The castle was built between 1900 and 1906 by Major of Bihać Lothar Von Berks as a birthday present for his wife, member of the Habsburg family.
The castle hosts a 55-year old event known under the name Colony of sculptors Ostrožac. This event produced number of monumental sculptures carved in bihacite stone, of which more than 150 is left in the castle courtyard as a permanent exhibition, forming the open-air Sculpture Park Ostrožac, unique in Southeastern Europe. According to the decision of the Commission for National Monuments, the sculptures are an integral and inalienable part of the architectural ensemble as a wider monument. Tourism and civic organizations of Cazin and Ostrožac use the castle grounds for shows, concerts, performances and variety of events. For the time being, the castle complex is being repaired at slow pace and only most urgent repairs have been done, although comprehensive plans for restoration of entire complex exists
Bosnien Herzegowinas älteste Moschee

👩🏽💻 Website :
Hallo zusammen,
