Magical Switzerland Winter Hike from Solothurn to Basel Landschaft
Last weekend we went for a 18 kilometer hiking trip in Switzerland from Schönenwerd (Aarau) to Tecknau as the weather was cold and cloudy. Close the peak of Geissflue (963m), the snow, fog and sun resulted in a pretty mystical scenery. The hiking trip is very suitable for beginners as it has only 600 altimeters and the roads are not that technical. Video shows some of the drone footage shot with a DJI Mavic Mini during the hiking tour in Basel-Landschaft.

Solothurn: A Must-Visit Destination in Switzerland
Solothurn was our fourth stop in the road trip. We were hosted by a great Swiss family in an Airbnb suit( Sarah Meile and her husband, Thomas Meile and her lovely daughters, Ladina Meile and Annika Meile). They were so nice. They showed us their farm lands. They took us to their place where they had cows and gave us fresh milk. I have included her contact information incase somebody wants to visit this great place and needs a room to stay.
As soons as we reached to the village we were amazed by the beautiful nature, amazing houses and the weather. We spent two nights there which I think was enough to explore and enjoy this city. Our place was in a small village which was about 45 minutes drive far from the city center which we discovered it on the first day.
The historical part of the city center is so amazing and you can see a lot of old buildings, a historical cathedral (Solothurn Cathedral) and can relax in a peaceful and quiet place. There are a lot of sights around the city which you can go and have a peaceful moment. We selected a lake which was beside a forest. We walked in the forest a little bit, had our lunch beside the lake and then drove back home.
On the second day we took a small trip to Zurich which I will create the video in the future and share it with you.

Solothurn is the capital city of the canton of Solothurn and is located on the river Aare and on the foot of the Jura mountains. The architecture in the city ranges from Italian, French and Swiss styles. Truly a nice small city not far from Bern, good option if you are on a Switzerland trip. Zofingen Aargau Switzerland 4K Wonderful Old Town Video
Zofingen is the capital of the district of the same name in the canton of Aargau in Switzerland. The wonderful historic old town is one of the best preserved in Switzerland. Zofingen's old town inspires not only with its good preservation, but also with its 22 flowing fountains. The most famous of these 22 fountains is the Niklaus-Thut-Brunnen. Niklaus Thut was Schultheiss of the town of Zofingen and died in the Battle of Sempach on 9 July 1386 and is revered as a legendary town hero. Only small sections of the former city wall have been preserved. Other beautiful historic buildings include the Powder Tower from 1365, the Town Hall (1795), the Helferei (1599), the Guild House of Butchers (1603) as well as the Market Hall (1726) and the St. Urbanhof on the Vordere Hauptgasse, the oldest parts of which date back to the 13th century.

🇨🇭 Switzerland: Travel to Zoo Zofingen 2022
The wildlife park, popularly known as the Hirschpark, is located on the Heitern local mountain in Zofingen. Red, fallow, axis and sika deer, wild boar and chickens live in this natural setting with ancient trees and a brook. The wildlife facility and the adjoining Heiternplatz, the nearby forest and the surrounding fields and meadows can be reached on easily walkable footpaths.
Numerous birds, such as bearded tits and a talking gray parrot, live near the old town in the Trottenweiher pond and the adjacent aviary. The adjoining playground also invites you to linger. The animal keeper is happy to take school classes on a guided tour.
