OLD MARKET AND BIGGEST MOSQUE 🕌 IN SHARM EL-SHEIKH EGYPT 🇪🇬
In this series I am travelling to Egypt - Egipt and visiting a city of Sharm El-Sheikh Sharm El Sheikh on Sinai Peninsula. It's full of touristic resorts and hotels, mostly known by all inclusive options. For the first week I was staying in Naama Bay - Nama Bay which is a touristic area of Sharm and for the second week I moved to a hotel close to Old Market - Old Bazaar where the big Mosque is in Sharm. I also took some boat trips and visited a diving paradise city of Dahab, then White Island in Res Muhammed and interacted with Egyptian people as well as tourist who were there. I tried different Egyptian Food and drinks. Also you will see me drinking tea in Beduin village and doing 4-wheel ATV ride. Camels will be there as well, so you are welcome to see the Egypt and Sharm el-sheikh through my eyes.

Egypt is bordered by Libya to the west, the Sudan to the south, and the Gaza Strip and Israel to the east. Egypt's important role in geopolitics stems from its strategic position: a transcontinental nation, it possesses a land bridge , (the Isthmus of Suez) , between Africa and Asia, traversed by a navigable waterway (the Suez Canal) that connects the Mediterranean Sea with the Indian Ocean by way of the Red Sea.
Apart from the Nile Valley, the majority of Egypt's landscape is desert, with a few oases scattered about. Winds create prolific sand dunes that peak at more than 30 metres high. Egypt includes parts of the Sahara desert and of the Libyan Desert. These deserts protected the Kingdom of the Pharaohs from western threats and were referred to as the red land in ancient Egypt.
Towns and cities include Alexandria, the second largest city; Aswan; Asyut; Cairo, the modern Egyptian capital and largest city; El Mahalla El Kubra; Giza, the site of the Pyramid of Khufu; Hurghada; Luxor; Kom Ombo; Port Safaga; Port Said; Sharm El Sheikh; Suez, where the south end of the Suez Canal is located; Zagazig; and Minya. Oases include Bahariya, Dakhla, Farafra, Kharga and Siwa. Bagawat: Cimitero paleocristiano. #Bagawat is an ancient #Christiancemetery, one of the oldest in the world, which functioned at the #khargaOasis in southern-central Egypt from the 3rd to the 7th century AD. It is one of the earliest and best preserved Christian cemeteries from the ancient world.
The Necropolis of #ElBagawat is located in the #WesternDesert in Kharga #Oasis. This is one of the largest oases in Egypt and is 34 m below sea level.
In the #Exodus Chapel, there is a depiction of the martyrdom of Isiah; and also of Tekla postured with raised hands, in front of fire being doused by rain. In the Chapel of Peace, the illustrative fresco is of Thekla and Paul.
There are paintings in the cemetery which show the ark of Noah in the form of an Egyptian barque. Also notable are carved representations of Old Testament scriptures, including Adam and Eve, Daniel in the lion's den, the sacrifice of Abraham, and Jonah swallowed by a fish.
