This video is our short trip to Werribee Park, one of the best place to visit in Melbourne. Melbourne has got many great attractions and Werribee Park on South West side of Melbourne City is one of the must go place.
Werribee Park is the estate of a historical building in Werribee, Australia. It includes Werribee Park Mansion, the Victoria State Rose Garden, formal gardens, the Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre, the Werribee Open Range Zoo, a sculpture walk and a natural river path which is being grown with the plants of the Kurung Jang Balluk clan who lived on Werribee River. There is also the Mansion Hotel and Conference Centre. The Park was purchased by the Victoria State Government in 1973. It was opened as a tourist attraction in 1977. It is run by Parks Victoria. The mansion and associated built facilities and grounds were listed on the Victorian Heritage Register on 1 April 1987.

Beach at Werribee South remains in its natural state, the water is shallow enough to wade about and dogs are welcome for a swim too. There is no better place for fishing. Launch your boat at Werribee South Boat Ramp, fish from the jetty or throw in a line from the sand. At the boat ramp you’ll find Pelicans gathering to inspect the fisherman’s catch. Werribee South Foreshore has a dedicated a place to launch your jets skis and is also perfect for canoeing or kayaking with access to the Werribee River. It features a large Safari tour, which features lots of Animals in large open plain exhibits, such as Giraffes, Rhinos and Zebras! The Zoo also has other Animals on display such as Lions, Hippos, and Gorillas!
