don't miss it this summer! Wasaga Beach!
Don’t miss it this summer! Wasaga Beach.
We really liked Wasaga Beach. Every year during the summer we go to Wasaga Beach several times. We go from Toronto to Wasaga, it takes a little over an hour by car.
A lot of people go to Wasaga Beach, especially on weekends and long holidays. As you can see in this video, the beach gets crowded, especially in the afternoon.
Wasaga Beach is very large (it is the longest freshwater beach in the world). Wasaga Beach is divided into sectors, from 1 to 6. Each one can choose where it suits them best, if they prefer a busier place, with many people, or a quieter place, to relax and enjoy the beautiful nature of Wasaga Beach.
The water is clean (Wasaga Beach is one of Canada's blue flag beaches), the sand is very soft and clean. Wasaga Beach is really good for kids as the water is shallow for a long way.
Wasaga Beach has plenty of parking, but sometimes it gets a little more difficult to find available spaces.
There are many shops and restaurants. There are also public restrooms.
Wasaga Beach is located 135 km from Toronto, 40 km from the Blue Mountains and 190 km from Tobermory.
In this video (very short) you will have a good view of Wasaga Beach. Watch until the end.
We hope you like this video.
