Ragusa Ibla, my favorite city in Sicily | Video Drone 4k | 2024 | Giardino Ibleo | Italy 🇮🇹

Ragusa is a Sicilian city that is so rich in history that its paths are carved with old churches and historical monuments. Located on the top of the hill in the south-east of Sicily, it is one of the most fascinating destinations in Sicily.

🔹 The city is divided into 2 parts - Ragusa Ibla (the historic old city) and Ragusa Superiore (the new upper city). Ragusa Ibla is full of stunning Baroque monuments, including the impressive San Giorgio Cathedral and the wonderful San Giuseppe Church.

🔹 Although Ragusa is not as crowded as some Sicilian tourist spots such as Taormina and Agrigento, it is still one of the most recommended places in Sicily.

🚌 How to get to Ragusa
🔹 The closest airport to Ragusa is Catania airport, which is approximately 90 minutes by car and 120 minutes by bus.
➖ We arrived with the local bus from Catania, Etnatransport, the bus station is near the central station. Departures are hourly, the ticket price is 8.6€.
➖ From the place where the bus will leave to Ragusa Ibla is a distance of 3 km. There is also a minibus that runs every hour to the center of Ragusa Ibla, ticket price €1.50.
