Vilnius is the capital and largest city of Lithuania. It is full of history, and there is a lot to see and do there. The city is in the southeast of the Baltic state. It is on both sides of the Neris River, and traders and travelers have been coming to its old streets for a long time.

DISCOVER VILNIUS - Top 10 Things to Do #vilnius #lithuania #travel
Come follow me on a fun weekend to Lithuania´s capital of Vilnius. In 3 days i´m gonna show you the top ten sightseeing highlights of Vilnius. We start with a historical free walking tour with our charming local tour guide named Mathilda. She explains us the history of the city and takes us around the smallest republic in the world called Uzopis Republik inside the city center of the old town. Created by artists in a bar with its own constitution. Ground rule number one ist to smile while entering the bordering bridge! Furthermore we discovered beautiful churches such as the Gate of Dawn Chapel & Church of HI. Teresa which were magnificently beautiful. The next we took a scooter a lil outside to enjoy a panoramic view from the 1974 built TV Tower of Vilnius. An absolute Must-Do in my opinion. Followed by a visit to the old Soviet build Palace of Sports & Concerts from 1971 left abandoned and afterwards we had a visit to the museum of the genocide or KGB museum with its jail & torturing chambers in the basement. At dawn we climbed up the old castle of Vilnius with a beautiful 360 degree view all around the city center. Of course we tested the traditional Lithuanian food at the most famous restaurant called Etno Dvaras. Try a local specialty called the cold beetroot soup - just delicious. Furthermore i take you to a lil shopping trip to Vilnius modern shopping mall called the Panorama Mall located in the modern financial district with it´s skyscrapers.
