In this episode of Copenhagen Walks we invite you to make a 1 day journey in the city by ferry and metro and explore 3 different parts of Copenhagen: Teglholmen and Sluseholmen that live on water, the new urban district Bellakvarter in Ørestad with its remarkable Bella Sky Hotel designed by 3XN, and very architectural South Ørestad (Vestamager metro station) with the famous and iconic '8 House' (built in the shape of a figure 8) designed by Bjarke Ingels Group BIG with its amazing landscape of Naturpark Amager around. We will also find some fascinating wooden pavilions by ADEPT hidden in nature.

We were pleasantly surprised by the number of tourist attractions and historical landmarks in Copenhagen.
From the world's oldest amusement park, Tivoli Garden, to the picturesque Nyhavn lined with colorful buildings and a beautiful canal.
If you are looking for things to do in Copenhagen, the city got something for everyone!
We also tried some traditional and famous Danish food such as Danish pastries, hot dogs, and smørrebrød (Danish open sandwich). Everything was delicious! We opt for more budget friendly places, rather than fancy restaurants because Denmark, especially Copenhagen is expensive!

BERGEN: From Denmark to Stavanger and one of Norways most beautiful towns // EPS. 2 EXPEDITION NORTH
Each journey is different, each journey is unique. I knew that the ride to Nordkapp would be different to all the rides I experienced before. That it would come with its unique challenges. But I didn’t expect one of the challenges being pouring rain. Join the journey For Denmark to Norway, From the port of Stavangaer to Norways touristic epicenter Bergen.
After leaving Eckernförde in Germany we crossed the border to Denmark and went on the highway to the port Hirtshals - to catch the overnight ferry to Norway. On our arrival in Stavanger we encountered pouring rain - and changed our plans. Instead of going to Lysebotn we went on another ferry to Nedstrand. One of the biggest challenges? Finding breakfast!
Join the ride to the idyllic city Bergen over Haugesund and Tysnes - and get to know more about some of Norways most visited places.

S23EP38 | DENMARK We're Not Happy - We're LEAVING.
We can hardly believe a month in Denmark has come and gone. We returned to Denmark this year to take a break from a faster (than usual) travel pace this year which took us from Italy via the Western Balkans on a whirlwind 4-month journey. As always, when you return to a place which provided so many good memories, one cannot help but feel anxious that this time it would be different. And it was, but in a good way. We treasured our time in Denmark and we're already looking forward to our return next summer.

S22EP51 | DENMARK You HAVE TO visit North Jutland.
The Kattegat coast of Denmark is something quite special. There’s a feeling of calm and plenty of space for activities as well as for relaxing. The calm waters along the east coast mean outstanding beaches and we took full advantage of the fantastic weather.
When you visit north Jutland, a MUST see is Grenen - Denmark's northernmost point and a unique natural phenomenon, where the two seas Skagerak and Kattegat meet
The migrating dune, Råbjerg Mile, is about 1km wide and 1km long, it is made of roughly 3,5 million m3 sand, and is 40 meters high. Each year the dune moves around 15 meters towards the Northeast, closer to Grenen, the top of Denmark.
