On the opposite side of Paris to the antiques market in the north, this market is far more interesting if you are looking for small antiques, bric a brac, or brocante. There are more items of ethnic origin as the newly arrived sell off some of their treasures brought into France.
There are dealers but it is more of a public car boot type of atmosphere. If you take photographs be aware that the dealer might stand in front of you, something to hide perhaps?

When you are in Paris, eating in french restaurants can become very expensive. Especially in the center of Paris, where all the tourists attractions are located.
