HOLIDAY VILLAGE Pullijärve in Võru County | South Estonia
Pullijärve Holiday Village is located in wild nature, in Misso village at Võru county, southeast of Estonia. It’s a perfect vacation place for everyone who loves nature and spending time in the fresh air.

By the legend the lake (Pullijärve means Bull Elk Lake) was named after the bull elk that was killed by the wolves on the ice of the lake. Suur Munamägi translation Great Egg Mountain is the highest peak in Estonia (and the Baltic states), reaching 318 meters (1,043 ft) above sea level. It is located near the village of Haanja, in Võru County in the south-eastern corner of Estonia, close to the borders of both Latvia and Russia. The landscape around the peak - the Haanja Upland - is gently hilly. --- Võru County is a county in Southern Estonia.
The territory of Võrumaa covers 2,305 km2 (890 sq mi) and is influenced by a temperate seasonal climate. In January 2013 Võru County had a population of 32,806, 2.5% of the total population in Estonia. The county is subdivided into 12 rural municipalities and one urban municipality, the county capital, Võru. --- The locality of Sillamäe was first mentioned in 1502 when the area was under the control of Livonian Order. The bridge across Sõtke and a mill in Sillamäe were documented in 1700. --- Valaste Waterfall is the highest waterfall in Estonia and neighboring regions (30.5 m) situated between Ontika and Valaste in the Toila Parish of the Ida-Viru County and formed by a stream, as it flows over the Baltic Klint not far from the shore of the Gulf of Finland. It is a popular tourist attraction with its spray freezing up in winter.
There is a parking lot, some explanatory signs, and a trail using a double spiral staircase to get down the cliff. Opposite of the waterfall, a viewing platform has been built, and this offers views of the falls.
The platform went out of service and the stairs to it were closed since 2013. A new staircase with platforms and walkways to the shore of the Gulf of Finland has been built and opened to the public in 2018. --- Purekkari cape is the northernmost place of mainland Estonia.
The cape is 1.5 km long, covered with rocks and boulders, and located on the Pärispea Peninsula in Lahemaa National Park. There is a small island at the end of the cape, which can be reached only when the water level is low. Thorny Japanese rose bushes catch the eye during blooming and when the roses bear fruit in the autumn. In the autumn, you can also see many migratory birds.
