Welcome aboard Southern Sky Airlines: Flying UP-AN422 from Urzhar to Almaty.
This aircraft made its first flight in October 1970 and delivered to Aeroflot (Kazakh UGA) one month later, as CCCP-47284. From 1996 Air Kazakhstan operated the An-24 as UN-47284, but 10 years later it was sold to SCAT, where it received its current registration in 2008. In 2014 the aircraft was transferred to Southern Sky Airlines, a subsidiary of SCAT. The cabin lighting wasn't used for the whole flight duration, creating a pretty dark experience.
