🏃♀️ Road Trip - France, Ardèche, the bucolic village of Naves near Les Vans
(EN) We discover today a small village built of stones, it's Naves near Les Vans, at the foot of the Serre de Barre mountain. Sometimes, this bucolic and narrow place can have some similarities with the village of Thines.
0:00 We leave first by car from Les Vans, then 6:18 By feet, we discover the narrow streets of the small village, the calades, the church and the family atmosphere of the place.
The village is very busy in summer. It is a small character village (hereinafter referred to as), a geopark unesco, the start of the hiking to the majestic Serre de Barre and a short walk to Les Gras. I advise you to take advantage of the place out of season. Enjoy this beautiful walk!

Le village est très fréquenté en été. Il s'agit d'un petit village de caractère, d'un geopark unesco, du départ de randonnée vers le majestueux Serre de Barre et une courte promenade vers Les Gras. Je vous conseille de profiter des lieux hors saison. Profitez bien de cette belle promenade !

Shot in August 2022, this is a street walk in the mediaeval city centre and along the Corrèze river, which also gave its name to the department. You will see the cathedral Notre-Dame of Tulle and its cloister.
Join me on this city tour and meet the welcoming people of Tulle, called Tullists.
Amongst its most famous citizens is François Hollande, the French president from 2012-2017, who was the mayor of Tulles from 2001-2008. Incredibly, the small, rural department Corrèze has produced even a second French president, as Jacques Chirac (president from 1995-2007) held his seat as deputy here.
Tulle is located in the central France about an hour’s drive from Clermont-Ferrand.
