Taurage Places and activities Lithuania
In the southwest of Lithuania, on the Jūra river bank, nearby the road Kaliningrad -- Riga, for several centuries there exists a town that has been beautifully named by our ancestry TAURAGĖ. The name Tauragė consists of two words Tauras (from Lithuanian → Taurus) and ragas (from Lithuanian → horn). Tauragė town first was mentioned in the written sources only in the XVI century but actually the town was found earlier. Historically Tauragė was a hotbed of two different ethnical, religious, political worlds. Sometimes this country had to be a wall dividing these two worlds, and sometimes, contrarily, a bridge, connecting tem. Travel guide to provincial Kelmė district and its surprises
Hi, here's another municipality video - Kelmė district located in the west of Lithuania in the lands of Samogitia.
It was my first time visiting it and it genuinely surprised me, how beautiful and taken care of the district is. The locals were so friendly and the amount of local sights were also just too many - I enjoyed every bit of the trip.
Tytuvėnai Regional Park alone is worth staying the night to enjoy its surroundings well.

Taurai adventure's park started in 2011, at that time could be able to offer even 5 different height's and complications of the tracks equipped in the trees. At that time Taurai adventure's park has been one of the largest adventure's parks in all Lithuania and the total length of tracks formed almost 2 km.
Today Taurai adventure's park's visitors amount reach even 30 000 participants per year. In the adventure's park are waiting for the visitors 6 different complications tracks: from beggining children to end elderly visitors. The length of tracks reach even 4 km. Here visitors can free walk in the park's area equipped decorative bridges, summerhouses, various swings and here are plenty of local sculptors made sculptures. Also without equipped tracks in the trees, we can offer you lodging in the hotel-cottage in the tree, Safari excursions in Tauragė even two different routes. Park's visitors also will have the chance to listen story of guide about 11-13th century defensive castles of Lithuania and visit in the castle.
It is thinking also about the little visitors. In the park are equipped children's playground, airbag, labyrinth and track specially for young visitors in the trees. Track's height is up to 2 meters so parents simple will be able their children overcome all abstacles.

Paršežeris – ežeras vakarų Lietuvoje, Šilalės rajone, Varnių regioniniame parke, apie 3,5 km į šiaurės rytus nuo Laukuvos. Paršežeris yra didžiausias natūralios kilmės vandens telkinys Tauragės apskrityje. Telkšo netaisyklingo pavidalo ledo lūstavietės duburyje. Ilgis iš pietvakarių į šiaurės rytus 2 km, plotis iki 1,3 km. Altitudė 157,6 m. Dubens šlaitai su terasomis, krantai žemi, daugiausia pelkėti. Iš pietų Paršežerį juosia ~ 150 ha Ežero žemapelkė, o iš šiaurės – ~ 90 ha Požerės aukštapelkė.
Į Paršežerį rytuose įteka Gaulė (Raudis), o šiaurėje su Lūksto ežeru jungia Sietuvų upė (Virvytės baseinas). Ežero pratakumas 220 % per metus.
Šalia ežero rytuose įsikūrusi Požerė, Strazdaliai, vakaruose – Burbiškiai. Netoli ežero šiaurvakarinio kranto stūkso Burbiškių piliakalnis. Pietrytiniame krante yra įkurta stovyklavietė, paplūdimys, žaidimų aikštelės, įrengtas pažintinis takas. Kiek atokiau į rytus eina kelias 160 Telšiai–Varniai–Laukuva .
