Come and explore the vibrant 5-day market in Taunggyi, Myanmar! This bustling market is a great place to find bargains on local handicrafts, clothes, and food. A 5-day market is a market day held once per 5 days in rotation and is called “Zay Nae”. On a 5-day market, you can find all local products in one place, where you can see ethnic people and try local and traditional foods. The vendors come from Nyaung Shwe (Inle), Pindaya, and Kakku while some come from other neighboring regions of Taunggyi.

This video is actually kinda highlight video of Taunggyi and Inle Lake. You will found the sceneries of Taunggyi and Inle Lake. Inle lake is one of Myanmar’s most popular destinations for travellers. Its located in Southern Shan State, Myanmar. There is a lot to see on Inle Lake and in the villages that surround it. The fishermen row their boats using their legs by wrapping one leg around the paddle. If you want to do a boat trips around inle lake, it start at the town of Nyaung Shwe. We went to some places in southern Shan State from 25th to 28th December. We went to Taunggyi, Inle and Kalaw. Taunggyi is the largest city in Shan State. Inle Lake is one of the famous destinations in Myanmar. Kalaw is a beautiful town with a lot of colonial buildings and beautiful buildings. Taunggyi is the capital and largest city of Shan State, Myanmar and lies on the Thazi-Kyaingtong road at an elevation of 4,712 feet. We had a great experienced while strolling around the city and going up to the top of the mountain and see the beautiful scenery of the place with full of pine trees along the road. And I am captivated this natural amazing cold place. I want to visit here again, bec. I know they have a lot to offers. I couldn’t imagine that we have reached to another side of interesting place, though It’s not part of our plan, but its really worth it. Love it!!!
