Darbargadh Palace in Morbi city of Gujarat State. This is a great palace but you have visit than permission is king of Morbi.
its is a buzzing little industrial town in the Kathiawar peninsula of Gujarat, India. The Famous for it's a clocks, CFLs and ceramic tiles. A river called Macchu runs in between the town. On one end of the river is a statue of an elegant-looking man riding a horse: Wagh Ji II, the erstwhile ruler of Morbi, and for all practical purposes, its patron-saint. Any time, day or night, there is someone worshipping his statue, asking for a wish to be fulfilled.
The royal history is a little dusty. Many footprints, Wagh Ji II was a shepherd's son adopted by the Jadeja Rajput king. Not caste, not bloodline, but the grace of God made him worthy of the kingdom. Some others say he was a farmer's son. Many others don't believe in the story of adoption. But almost 150 years since Wagh Ji's reign, all agree he was blessed.
A Maharaja must inhabit various level of this world, patal lok (nether world) included. They say the Sanjivani Vidya, the secret of renewal and regeneration, lies there. Wagh Ji is underground life and surang, a secret tunnel that connected him to Mani.
The king had four queens -- daughters of the Thakore Sahibs of Palitana, Sayla, Tharad, Chuda. Each queen brought with herself an agreement with her father's kingdom -- economic, political ties and a robust dowry. Palitana queen's dowry, however, included a special little jewel, a young maid named Mani.

Morbi or Morvi is a City and a municipality in Morbi district in the Indian state of Gujarat. It is situated on the Kathiawar peninsula. In 2011, the town's population was determined to be 194,947. The town of Morbi is situated on the Machhu River, 35 km from the sea and 60 km from Rajkot.
1- Mani mandir - Mani mandir is very attractive place for visit. This is built by Thakor Saheb. Good attraction on Morbi city and centrally located. This is symbol of love.
2- Nehru gate - Nehru Gate is situated at Morbi, Earlier its name was Nagar Darwaza in which 'Nagar' signifies 'city' and 'Darwaza' signifies 'entryway.' Later the name was changed to 'Nehru Gate' to pay cordiality to Pandit
3- Hanging bridge - This is very old and famous bridge over Machchhu river. Very old but still it was in use. Many people came for visit. Excellent view from here.
4- Darbargadh palace - The Neemrana Hotel Darbargadh Palace in Morvi is a stunning experience. The main courtyard of the hotel is beautifully renovated, and with its seven rooms at this stage of renovation, the hotel gives a very personal experience. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. The food was excellent, and the breakfast was definitely the best one that we had in our 4 weeks sejour through Northern and Central India. The rooms are incredibly wonderfully decorated, and the bathrooms are huge.
5 - Navlakhi port - Navlakhi Port is an all-weather lighterage non-major intermediate port. It is situated on the southwest end of the Gulf of Kutch in Hansthal Creek, India. The Port is about 45 km from Morbi and 160 km from Kandla. Navigation is permitted only during daylight hours; boats use channel buoys for navigation. The port unloads 8,000 to 9,000 MT of coal per day. It is governed by the Gujarat Maritime Board.
6- Green chauk - Green Chowk is a town square approached by a series of three gates. European town planning principles inspired the creation of these gates as landmarks in the town. The Nehru Gate is made out of stone using elements of Rajput architecture with central clock tower, while another one uses elements of western architecture and is capped by a three-storeyed cast iron frame structure with a dome.
7- Shrimad rajchandra birthplace - Shrimad Rajchandra (11 November 1867 – 9 April 1901) was a Jain poet, mystic, philosopher, scholar and reformer. Born near Morbi, he claimed to have recollection of his past lives at the age of seven. He performed Avadhāna, a memory retention and recollection test that gained him popularity, but he later discouraged it in favour of his spiritual pursuits. He wrote much philosophical poetry including Atma Siddhi.
8- Rampara wildlife sanctuary - Rampara Wildlife Sanctuary is the wooded area in an arid zone otherwise devoid of any noteworthy tree growth.
9- Dayanand Saraswati janm Bhumi -Dayananda Saraswati was born on the 10th day of waning moon in the month of Purnimanta Falguna (12 February 1824) on the tithi to a Brahmin Hindu family in Jeevapar Tankara, Kathiawad region (now Morbi district of Gujarat.)
10- Rafaleshwar Mahadev temple - Very old Shiv temple. There is mythological story behind this temple that Pandavs had visited this place and had Shiv Sthapan.

1. Mani Mandir The Manimandir of Morbi reflects the wonderful mental capacity of Shah Jahan as he built his Taj Mahal. This manimandir was also built with such sharp and unusual emotions at work. The history says. It is a symbol of Love in the history of Saurashtra. The King of Morbi, Vaghji Thakor had built this manimandir in the memory of his beloved first wife Manibai, and is no less than a royal palace in its beauty of design and sculptures. 2. Nehru Gate inaugurated in 1925 by Sir Lloyd, British Governor of Bombay, and was named 'Llyod Gate'. After Independence, it was renamed 'Nehru Gate'. it was the main gate of the Morbi kingdom so it is also famous as 'Nagar Darwaza' or the Gateway to the town. The Nehru Gate is made out of stone using elements of Rajput architecture with central clock tower. After the Earthquake most of it was damaged badly. But in 2007, it was rebuilt and restored by the Morbi Municipality. 3. Darbargadh Palace Reflected in the Macchu river, the 19th century Darbargadh spreads out all the glory and magnificence of a century made eternal by the patronage of maharajas . The Jadejas ruled Morvi from the 17th century, but the oldest wing of their palaces that remain at Darbargadh, dates back to circa 1885 and is credited to HH Shri Waghji Rawaji Thakore. 4.
