If you're visiting Bogota but are short on time and have a day or less to see the city - this is the vlog for you! I guide you through the main sights that I believe should make it into your itinerary for a day in Bogota and obviously what to do, where to stay, where to eat etc.
Obviously, this is a huge city with SO much to do and I am aware of the attractions that I didn't cover, but once again - this is how I believe a day here should be spent without rushing around between activities or having to take multiple taxis. I got here by plane and a vaccine is still required, so make sure you have that before entering Colombia.
The local currency is the Colombian peso, the exchange rate with the US Dollar is currently 4700.
The weather here is more fresh, cloudy and cool than in other Colombian cities because of its high altitude so remember to bring a jacket.
It's safe in the central area but you still need to be vigilant and try not to walk around alone / at night in less touristy zones.

Peruvian food is one of the world’s great cuisines, and I was thrilled to have a chance to visit Peru to learn about and taste the food. In this video, get ready for an ultimate 14-hour straight Peruvian street food tour of Lima!
Here’s everything included in this food tour:
La Parada Market - If you love vegetable markets, I don’t think anywhere else in Lima is as colorful, energetic, and vibrant. This is the beating heart of Lima’s food supply, and I fully enjoyed walking around and seeing the diversity of ingredients from around Peru all in one busy wholesale Market.
Caldo Cesar - Elias navigated us to Caldo Cesar, a restaurant that was incredibly packed and specializes in some of Lima’s best caldo de gallina - chicken hen soup. It was one of the best chicken soups I’ve ever had in my life. Total Price - 52 PEN ($15.71) for 4
Ceviche Cart - One of the national dishes and most beloved dishes of Peru is ceviche (raw fish in lime juice), and we walked over to the section of the market where they sell fish and seasonings for ceviche and had a plate of fresh Peruvian ceviche. It was delicious. Price - 8 PEN ($2.42)
Fruit Tasting - This was pretty unplanned, we just walked around the fruit market and tasted about a dozen types of fruit. My favorite fruits were the Sanky - Fruit produced by a cactus, Camu camu - Native to the Amazon rainforest, and Lucuma - Gold of the Incas.
Papa rellena - This is one of the most common of all Peru street foods, a papa rellena, or a Peruvian stuffed potato. I was impressed - one of the best fried potatoes maybe I’ve ever had in my life.
Tocosh - This fermented potato pulp, was invented by the Incas, and it’s not for the faint of heart. I thought it was unique and pretty delicious, and fun to eat, and it contains natural penicillin.
Papa con huevo - This was ok, but just basic, a potato with egg on top and doused in sauces. This is again, a classic part of Peruvian street food, especially enjoyed by children.
Sanguchería El Chinito - “I practically moved to Peru just for this sandwich.” - Timour Ghoneim. That says it all about this legendary chicharrón Peruvian sandwich located at Plaza de Armas. And he was right, you would move to Lima for this sandwich.
Don Tito Pollos a la Brasa - If you ask Peruvians what is one of their comfort foods, I’m guessing pollo a la brasa would be a common answer. Pollo a la brasa is Pervuian rotisserie chicken, but somehow they just do it better in Peru. Total Price - 84 PEN ($25.39)
Anticuchos Manuela - Without a doubt, this was one of my favorite parts of this entire Peru street food tour of Lima, anticuchos, or grilled cow hearts. They are truly majestic, so juicy and flavorful, you won’t believe it. Price - 10 PEN ($3.02)
Picarones - Finally to end this ultimate street food in Peru tour of Lima, we ordered some picarones, donuts made from sweet potato and pumpkin. They are addictively delicious and should be eaten when you’re in Lima. Price - 6 PEN ($1.81) per box

Add ground black pepper, special Kep sauce in, then mix. Sauce: MSG, sugar, chicken powder, chilly flakes, oyster sauce, sate sauce, milk, vinegar, palm sugar.

New pan, put in oil, deep fry veggie, special Kep West sauce, crab, basil, coconut milk. Sauce: cooking oil, fish sauce, dried shrimp, dried chili, coconut milk, coconut juice, garlic, chilly sauce, basil leaves.

We're in Puerto Rico for this episode! Alongside my local Puerto Rican friend Luis, we take you on a mouthwatering adventure through the heart of Puerto Rico’s mountains along La Ruta del Lechón, a road famous for its incredible roasted pork (Lechon). As you drive through lush green landscapes and winding roads, we come to La Ruta del Lechon, and all of the vibrant roadside stalls where whole pigs are slow-roasted over open fires.
We decided to eat at El Rancho Original, an amazing place for the Puerto Rican food feast!
The crispy, juicy pork melts in your mouth, perfectly paired with freshly muddled mojitos bursting with tropical flavors. Each bite and sip immerses us deeper into the rich culinary traditions that make this Puerto Rican food so special.
But our journey doesn’t stop at lechón! We also visit a quaint mountain bakery tucked away in a quiet village. The warm aroma of freshly baked bread and pastries greets us as we step inside. From flaky pastelillos to sweet coconut and guava-filled treats, this stop gives us a taste of the island’s sweeter side.

New Orleans Restaurant Review Middle Eastern Cuisine at Cleo’s French Quarter Mediterranean Cuisine
In this episode of our New Orleans travel vlog we are doing a Middle Eastern food review with a visit to Cleo’s French Quarter Mediterranean Cuisine for a Middle East feast. Cleo’s French Quarter Mediterranean Cuisine is located in the New Orleans French Quarter at 117 Decatur Street. I've eaten at Cleo's other location which was their first restaurant located inside a convenience store nearby on Canal Street and I’ve always found the food to be very good. This is my first visit to their second location although I have been to this location before back was when it was still the noted Italian restaurant Cafe Giovanni which had opera singers. Our restaurant review videos will have a food review of my Middle East food feast with a review of Cleo’s French Quarter Mediterranean Cuisine. Some people might call this a Middle East food experience or a Mediterranean food experience depending on who you ask but in the end I think most people will agree this is a lot of delicious food.
