10 Days Around SOUTH KOREA 🇰🇷 | First Time Visiting

This was my first time visiting South Korea and I had 10 days looping around the country.

We started off visiting the DMZ at the Aegibong Peace Eco Park, then made our way to the beach town of Gangneung.

After this we made our way down to Andong and then Busan where we visited many of the citie's highlights including Gamcheon Culture Village
and Haedong Yonggungsa Temple.

In Mokpo we took the Mokpo marine cable car and then in Jeonju we explored the traditional Hanok village and got to hire out Hambok clothing.

Our trip ended in the capital city of Seoul.

Titanic Survivor Claims an Iceberg Didn't Destroy the Ship

Have you ever met a person who hasn’t ever heard the story of Titanic? Unlikely. Even if you ask a 10-year-old, they’ll tell you exactly what took down the gigantic ship. However, some survivors of the sinking legend would beg to differ. Here’s one of their stories, and it has nothing to do with an iceberg.

Armenian publicist Vaghinak Byurat was 25 years old in the spring of 1912. He described what happened on his journey to America on the most famous ship in the world in his memoirs. He’s never mentioned an iceberg hitting the Titanic, and always spoke about an explosion. And if what he said was true, something must have caused that huge explosion...

💥 Btw, guys, there is a cat hidden in this video. If you can spot our furry little guy, you're much more attentive than most people! Do you accept the challenge? 😽

SUMMARY:
- Armenian publicist Vaghinak Byurat was 25 years old in the spring of 1912. He described what happened on his journey to America on the most famous ship in the world in his memoirs.
- In 1912, Vaghinak published some books together with his father, a famous Armenian writer. His task was to take the books to America.
- They went to bed rather late on April 14, just like on the other nights. Shortly after midnight, something that sounded like a big explosion woke everyone up.
- None of the crew members wanted to say anything, but a few minutes later it was impossible to deny that the Titanic was going underwater.
- Vaghinak put his passport and money in a little bag and tied it around his neck. The Titanic’s bow was already underwater by that time. A lot of people in this situation wouldn’t have dared to take it to the open water.
- The water in the North Atlantic that night was just below freezing, at a scary 28 degrees Fahrenheit (-2 C). The young writer felt his arms and legs go numb, and he was understandably getting weaker and weaker every second.
- Then, he bumped into something. It was a lifeboat! But it was so overcrowded they pushed the young man with a paddle when he tried to stick to the boat.
- Vaghinak woke up alive on board another ship. That ship was the Carpathia, and it was en route to New York with lucky survivors on board.
- 12 days later, a woman came into the room. She turned out to be the person who saved Vaghinak. Missis Astor told the sailors that the young man was her son, and she wouldn’t let them go without him since she’d already lost her husband on the Titanic.
- Vaghinak lived a long and happy life and, as a great storyteller, he shared what happened to him many times. Interestingly, he’s never mentioned an iceberg hitting the Titanic, and always spoke about an explosion.
- It could have been a fire, and quite a lot of people actually believe that theory, saying that coal was burning in the ship’s hull.
- Another theory that explained the explosion claimed that there was a German U-boat involved in the sinking of Titanic.

Korean Supermarket Tour + Prices at Home Plus in Busan | Grocery shopping in Korea:

Hey guys! We are Samuel and Audrey, a vlogging travel couple from Canada. In this travel channel we share our travel and food vlogs while touring the world.

Our most recent trip was to South Korea where I embarked upon a two-week adventure without Audrey. Invited as part of a YouTube vlogging trip, organized by KTO, I spent the first week traveling with other YouTubers in Seoul, Busan and Gyeongju. My second week included independent exploration of Korea with my good friend and fellow YouTuber David of DavidsBeenHere.

Having lived and traveled in South Korea, the chance to return to one of my favorite countries was one of the biggest surprises of 2019. On this particular trip, I had an opportunity to do many things I had not previously covered including a visit to the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone between South Korea and North Korea), a Buddhist Temple Stay and a Korean cooking class. It was almost as if the program designed by KTO knew exactly what I had missed out on before.

Obviously, a huge highlight from the two weeks I spent revisiting Korea was the food. I feasted on all of my favorite Korean dishes including Korean barbecue, dolsot bibimbap, haemul pajeon, tteokbokki, bulgogi, kimbap and many others. I can honestly say that Korean food is world-class and is one of my top 5 favorite cuisines in the world. Aside from trying familiar dishes, I had the opportunity to sample raw Korean seafood for the first time.

While visiting Seoul, highlights included going to Gyeongbokgung Palace, Namsan Seoul Tower, Jogyesa Temple and Hongdae. As one of the biggest cities in the world, I barely scratched the surface of things to do in Seoul.

Spending extended time in Busan was my favorite part about the trip with top highlights including a Korean temple stay, fresh fish markets and a Korean baseball game. It was from Busan that we ended up taking a day-trip to Daegu where we enjoyed a traditional Korean market and tried Galbi-Jjim for the first time.

If you want to see more videos from Korea in the future, let us know in the comments what places you'd like us to travel to and what food experiences you'd like to see on this travel channel.

Have you traveled to South Korea before? What was your experience like? Please share your Korea travel tips, advice and experiences in the comments below.

Boston Pizza Wars blown away by Boardwalk Pizza's AMAZING thin-crust pie

Pizza experts Steve Damato and Marc Russo of influential Facebook group Boston Pizza Wars visited new Boardwalk Pizza in Marina Bay, Quincy (Mass.) recently and were blown away the pie's quality, flavor and crispy thin crust.

The pizza was crafted by Chef Pino Maffeo and the Frattaroli Family of North End restaurant fame. It is known for its innovative boardwalk style, featuring a splash of sea salt, perfect for casual seaside eating, and for its uniquely delicious thin crunch texture.

Boardwalk Pizza is located at 332 Victory Road, Marina Bay, Quincy, Mass.(617-481-1070). Learn more at

Always Room for Dessert in Taiwan | Jinshan Old Street, New Taipei City

We're eating our way through Taiwan trying as many foods and drinks as possible! In this video, we explore street food on Jinshan Old Street in New Taipei City. For lunch we have duck and noodles with soy paste and guava juice. One thing about visiting Taiwan is that there's ALWAYS room for dessert. We find a vendor selling sweet potato ice cream decorated with colourful baubles and eat in the typhoon rains.

We're delighted to collaborate with Asia Now on this press trip to explore South Korea, Singapore, the Philippines, and Taiwan. Big thank you to @visitkorea @VisitSingapore @TourismPhilippines @anytimefortaiwan

The Chinese New Year of the Dragon brings us to Asia and a winter walk through UNESCO Heritage site Changdeok Palace in the heart of traditional Seoul. Hanok village offers a perfect location between 3 Palaces. surviving many wars, a ruthless Japanese occupation and now the assault of smog.. these historical grounds are its houses, forests, lakes and nature trails. Always looking for the Aloha. Hawaiian taro is found in the 100 year old arboretum found deep into the palacial palace grounds.
