Kerékpártúra a Kőszegi hegységben/Bicycle ride in Kőszeg mountains ( Hungary ) / English cc avaible
English below.....
Sziasztok!

English description
Hello! - October... autumn in Hungary...23.10.2020- it's a perfect day we leave behind, autumn is here, that can be noticed in the colorful forest view, in the shrinking days and sunny hours and in the thick fog that covers the surrounding landscape day by day. It feels like Mother nature uses the fog as a warm blanket during it's winter hibernation.
Our journey started on a similar foggy morning in the Köszegi mountains with Steni, Ildikó, Ottó, Lívia and Imola. Although the weather was grim and unfriendly our hearts were filled with joy and warmth due to the great company, the beatiful nature view and the uphills rising in front of us.
Through the day we visited the bunker where the hungarian Crown was guarded for a short time, the Hétforrás spring, Óház view point, Hörmann spring, Stájerhouses, Szent Vid Chapel, Abér lakes and we enjoyed a nice meal in Bozsok, at Határmenti Vigadó.
This is a shorter version of the video footage about our tour in the Kőszegi mountains, fot those who have no time or pacience to watch the longer version of it. :)
Thank you for watching and hope you enjoy it!

Wonders of Hungary - Festetics Palace, Keszthely
The Festetics Palace in Keszthely is an excellent choice as your next destination: all the buildings of the estate are full of interesting exhibits (e.g. a carriage museum, a palm house, miniature railways, birds and the largest unharmed noble library in Europe). Visitors love this place for the proximity of Lake Balaton too: the beach is in just walking distance.

Fort Csesznek - Hungary 4K
This Hungarian fortress was built in the great castle construction period, after the 1241-42 invasion of the Tatars, by Jakab Cseszneky, the swordbearer of King Béla IV. Between 1326 and 1392 it was a royal castle, when King Sigismund offered it to the House of Garai in lieu of the Macsó Banate.
In 1482 the male line of the Garai family died out, and King Matthias Corvinus donated the castle to the Szapolyai family. In 1527, Baron Bálint Török became its owner.
During the 16th century, the Csábi, Szelestey and Wathay families were in possession of Csesznek. In 1561, Lőrinc Wathay held back successfully the siege of the Ottomans. However, in 1594 the castle was taken over and occupied by Turkish troops. In 1598 the Hungarians recaptured it.
In 1635, Dániel Esterházy bought the castle and village and from that time on Csesznek was the property of the Esterházy family until 1945.

A walk around the PARLIAMENT l BUDAPEST HUNGARY 🇭🇺 FILIPINA AMERICAN COUPLE from USA
Budapest (UK: /ˌb(j)uːdəˈpɛst, ˌbʊd-, ˈb(j)uːdəpɛst, ˈbʊd-/, US: /ˈbuːdəpɛst, -pɛʃt, ˌbuːdəˈpɛʃt/;Hungarian pronunciation: [ˈbudɒpɛʃt] ⓘ) is the capital and most populous city of Hungary. It is the ninth-largest city in the European Union by population within city limits and the largest city on the Danube river;the city has an estimated population of 1,752,286 over a land area of about 525 square kilometres (203 square miles). Budapest, which is both a city and county, forms the centre of the Budapest metropolitan area, which has an area of 7,626 square kilometres (2,944 square miles) and a population of 3,303,786. It is a primate city, constituting 33% of the population of Hungary.
The history of Budapest began when an early Celtic settlement transformed into the Roman town of Aquincum, the capital of Lower Pannonia. The Hungarians arrived in the territory in the late 9th century, but the area was pillaged by the Mongols in 1241–42. Re-established Buda became one of the centres of Renaissance humanist culture by the 15th century. The Battle of Mohács, in 1526, was followed by nearly 150 years of Ottoman rule. After the reconquest of Buda in 1686, the region entered a new age of prosperity, with Pest-Buda becoming a global city after the unification of Buda, Óbuda and Pest on 17 November 1873, with the name 'Budapest' given to the new capital. Budapest also became the co-capital of the Austro-Hungarian Empire,[29] a great power that dissolved in 1918, following World War I. The city was the focal point of the Hungarian Revolution of 1848 and the Battle of Budapest in 1945, as well as the Hungarian Revolution of 1956.
Budapest is a global city with strengths in commerce, finance, media, art, fashion, research, technology, education, and entertainment. Hungary's financial centre, Budapest is also the headquarters of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, the European Police College and the first foreign office of the China Investment Promotion Agency. Over 40 colleges and universities are located in Budapest, including Eötvös Loránd University, Corvinus University, Semmelweis University, University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest and the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Opened in 1896, the city's subway system, the Budapest Metro, serves 1.27 million, while the Budapest Tram Network serves 1.08 million passengers daily.
The central area of Budapest along the Danube River is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has several notable monuments of classical architecture, including the Hungarian Parliament and the Buda Castle. The city also has around 80 geothermal springs, the largest thermal water cave system,[43] second largest synagogue, and third largest Parliament building in the world. Budapest attracts around 12 million international tourists per year, making it a highly popular destination in Europe.

The Aquincum Museum. Roman City with Amazing Organ. - Budapest Hungary - ECTV
The Aquincum Museum is a museum in Budapest, Hungary.[1] It first opened in May 1894.[2] Archeological findings from the remains of Aquincum are on display there.[1] These include items from the local mithraeum. It has an indoor and outdoor part.[3]
Paula Zsidi served as the museum director from 1989 until 2015.[4]
The Prehistory collection of the Budapest History Museum’s Prehistory and Migration Period Department contains more than 500,000 objects.
This rich collection from Budapest and its surroundings contains finds ranging from the Palaeolithic to the Celtic period, spanning nearly 50,000 years.
The earliest, approximately 50,000 year-old archaeological finds, dating to the Middle Palaeolithic, were found during excavations of a settlement of hunters near the city of Érd who specialized in hunting cave bears.
Particularly rich and unique finds of the collection are anthropomorphic vessels depicting human faces from the Middle Neolithic (New Stone Age). These were excavated in settlements of the so-called Transdanubian Linear Band Culture near Budapest (e.g. Növény Street, Biatorbágy, Törökbálint, Kőérberek-Tóváros).
The Middle Copper Age is represented in the collection by finds of the Ludanice Culture, the Stab-and-Drag Pottery Culture and the so-called Protoboleraz Horizon.
Vessels of the Late Copper Age Baden Culture, reflecting its extraordinarily rich variations of pottery designs, were found in larger settlements of the period at Andor Street, Káposztásmegyer and Békásmegyer.
Further highlights of the collection are objects that belonged to the peoples of the Bell Beaker-Csepel Group from the Early Bronze Age. Their settlements lay exclusively along the Danube, in and around the area of modern-day Budapest. The most significant finds came from Albertfalva, Szigetszentmiklós, Csepel and Békásmegyer.
Remains from the Middle Bronze Age Vatya Culture held in the collection include urns from a cemetery discovered in Növény Street, as well as bronze and ceramic objects that were buried for ritual purposes (Rákospalota, Bekásmegyer, Remete-Felső Cave). A sensational find comprising over 100 ritual ceramic vessels from the so-called Tumulus Period, was discovered during the demolition of the Skála department store.
The collection also includes grave goods (‘boot’ vessels, ‘magic tools’, bird-shaped pots etc.) from the Late Bronze Age Urnfield Culture’s unique cemetery in Békásmegyer of Europe-wide significance.
Large-scale excavations on the slopes of Csúcs hill and Kőérberek revealed large and special ’graphite-pattern’ vessels from the Early Iron Age Hallstatt Culture. In Soroksár archaeologists found a cemetery from the Scythian Period.
The most significant pieces from the Late Iron Age Celtic period are the La Tene B-C Period cemetery (on the site of the Csepel sewage treatment facility), and a settlement in the Tabán area of Budapest that survived into the Roman period. Of particular note is the fortified site (oppidum) on the southern slopes of Gellért hill, which was built and inhabited by the Celtic tribe of the Eravisci.
