Hayling Island in the south of England, combines all the attractions of a traditional seaside holiday with excellent sea sporting and leisure facilities.
The island’s miles of unspoiled coastline and countryside also offer a haven of peace and tranquility where visitors can walk, cycle or relax on the beautiful beaches.
However there is only one bridge entry to the island and sometimes traffic is very bad in peak times and properties are more expensive compared to other neighbourhoods therefore living is only suitable for middle age and retirement people.

Portsmouth is the great waterfront city in the south England, packed with world class attractions, fantastic things to do and a year round programme events. This beautiful city has miles of coastline, centuries history, great quays outlet shopping and music festival.

I spent one day to travel around Portsmouth as I used to live there before and I know quite well about the city.

Warners Lakeside is one of two resorts located on Hayling Island in the county of Hampshire. No children are allowed which means a more peaceful vibe around the complex.
There are plenty of activities during the day which are shown in the video but other activities include walks, wine tasting, tea tasting, quizzes, and dancing.

We fly over the Old Hayling Railway Bridge from the Hayling Billy Line Car Park. To the west is Langstone Harbour and to the east is Chichester Harbour.

I received the email from BMFA to say that COVID restriction on flying had ended and so after months of only being able to fly from my Garden, I took my drone for a walk on Hayling Island's sandy beach and had a quick look around from the air. Its strange having everything closed in May however we head down to the beach for some food and Funland as we update you from Hayling Island.
Since our last visit both of the new rides are up and look ready along with a re-theme for the Log Flume all seen on a lovely weather day where the park would normally be up and running. Did you visit in February? Let us know below.

Southsea is a popular resort with seafront gardens and a long beach, plus funfair rides at South Parade Pier, an aquarium, and a model village. Built by Henry VIII, moated Southsea Castle has cannons and views across the Solent. Edwardian landmarks include the Kings Theatre, a restored playhouse for mainstream shows and a slapstick Christmas pantomime. There are plenty of pubs, tea rooms, and curry houses inland.

With Funland opening on July 4th we thought we would head down to see if thee were any changes ahead of opening. We take a look at the rides, the already open Crazy Golf with looking at what social distancing they have put into place ready to open.

Hayling Island is a 10 out of 10
My dad and I flipped a coin and decided to go to Hayling Island for a few hours. We went to the fun fare and saw how much the tickets are so we couldn’t say no. £7 for an all day unlimited rides wrist band which meant I went on the dodgems, helter skelter, runaway mine train and spinosaurus roller coasters and much more.
It was a fun day and well worth checking out if you live in Hampshire or Portsmouth or Brighton or anywhere along the south coast or want a weekend getaway from London.
