A portion of the well-known Grand Pacific Road, which begins just south of Sydney and runs down the New South Wales coast, is the Sea Cliff Bridge. The new S-shaped road, constructed in 2005 to replace a hazardous piece of road that was prone to rockfalls, spreads out over the water and appears to float off the beach as if it were somehow miraculously weightless.
