⭐ SOLVANG is situated just a short drive from Santa Barbara. The place is known for its Danish style architecture, many wineries and European-style bakeries and shops.
⭐ JOSHUA TREES NATIONAL PARK is located on the crossroad of Mojave and Colorado desert features a surreal geologic landscape and rich cultural history.
⭐ IMPERIAL SAND DUNES or Algodones Dunes (45-mile long) were formed by the sands of an ancient lake. Dunes can reach heights of 300 feet or more, creating an illusion of an endless landscape. The dunes are a popular spot for off-road enthusiasts and over one million people visit the dunes every year.
You can simply drive through the dunes and stop at the Osborne Overlook or plan a camping expedition, either way, visiting the dunes is a one-of-a-kind experience.

We recently took a trip to Santa Barbara and I wanted to share our experience as well as things to do in and around the area. We stayed at the Waterman hotel downtown, in the Funk Zone. We were there in early April during the Covid 19 Pandemic and I would say the 60-70% of the people there were wearing masks outside. Very beautiful and scenic city with a lot of things to do.
