Our adventure begins as we cruise through the bustling streets, lined with colorful markets and bustling bazaars. From the window of our car, we catch glimpses of locals going about their daily lives, their warm smiles welcoming us to their city. Our first stop is the iconic Amul Dairy Cooperative, a symbol of India's dairy revolution. As we pull into the expansive complex, we're greeted by the sight of milk trucks arriving to deliver their precious cargo. Inside, the hum of machinery fills the air as workers process milk into a myriad of dairy products. The legacy of Amul, with its commitment to empowering farmers and providing quality dairy products, is palpable as we take in the sights.
Next, we head to the serene surroundings of Sardar Patel University. The lush green campus welcomes us with open arms as we drive past its academic buildings and sprawling lawns. The university, named after the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, stands as a beacon of education and enlightenment in the region. As we continue our journey, we can't resist the temptation to sample some of Anand's famous street food. We pull over at a local food stall, where the aroma of freshly fried snacks fills the air.
