Pakistan Jaffar Express Bolan Pass Most Scenic Train Journey | Quetta to Sibi in Balochistan
Pakistan's Jaffar Express Bolan Pass railway journey is the most scenic train ride in Pakistan -- from my eyes -- is the historic rail journey that was built by the British through the 22 mountain tunnels of the Bolan Pass in Balochistan from Quetta to Sibi. It's a gorgeous ride that puts you 'at one' with the desolation of the desert and its wonderful landscapes. I did this trip with Balochistan's original vlogger Saif from the YouTube channel BALOCHISTAN: LAND OF BEAUTY It was supposed to happen back in January and we finally did it now in the spring!
The history of the Bolan Pass train starts back as early back as the 1880s. 22 tunnels were dug through the mountains to link Quetta to Sibi but because of floods they kept losing the tracks. In the end it was built through hard work and determination.
Today, this journey takes around 4.5 hours and moves passengers through some of the prettiest landscapes and narrowest tunnels imaginable. Come along with me and Saif for a fun-filled, family-friendly experience.

In the second part of Sibi city video include, morning village walk, visit of a dam, walking inside the mysterious gorges, visit of Nari Gag irrigation system, visit of agriculture lands and at the end of the video, we show you the process of Aiabose (cook green wheat on fire).
Nari is located 20 kilometers from Sibi city and its take you 40 minutes to reach Nari Dam. Nari irrigation system is one of the oldest irrigation systems in Balochistan, which is contructed during the British era in 1917.
