What To See in #Shrewsbury In a Flash Visit
Nestled amongst the rolling Shropshire Hills and just a few miles from the Welsh border, the little town of Shrewsbury is a totally gorgeous place to visit.
It's the kind of place that's perfect for a day trip or weekend break, especially with all the best things to do in Shrewsbury dotted all across the town.
Of course on this flash trip, we haven't visited all places, but for sure we've enjoyed the time spent there while walking, eating and staying in pubs.
Town centre is looking nice with a lot of places to be visited, great pubs there and you can also have a walk along the Severn river admiring the area.
Therefore, we can strongly recommend the area for being visited!

York is a walled city in northeast England that was founded by the ancient Romans.
1. Visit Clifford’s Tower located in the heart of York. It is the only remaining part of the York Castle. It is named after the Clifford Family who were long time custodians of the castle. This castle was built in the late 1060’s.
2. Take a walk around the City Walls. At 3.4 kilometers long, the beautifully preserved walls are the longest medieval town walls in England. This trail takes approximately two and a half hours to walk. It is free to explore this trail.
3. Visit the Howard Castle, one of the premier homes of England. The Castle is a baroque masterpiece, conceived by Charles Howard, 3rd Earl of Carlisle.
Liverpool, the city where the river Mersey meets the Irish Sea. It is also, known as the hometown of the Beatles.
4. Enjoy the view from the radio city tower
5. Take a 360-degree tower tour in royal Liver Building to see the Liverpool skyline from the 15th floor and learn the history of this building and take a pick behind the clock.
6. Visit the Beatles museum
7. Stroll around the Albert Dock
8. Visit the Tate Art Museum

If you have a chance and extra time, I recommend driving through villages to get a feel for the countryside. It is beautiful, diverse, and very accessible by train too. Often only a few hours from the nearest airport.
Edinburgh is hilly capital of Scotland. It has a medieval old town and elegant gardens and buildings. It is a coastal city, and there are a variety of beaches and harbors that are perfect for relaxing on during a warm summer’s day.
10. The Royal Mile is at the heart of Edinburgh’s old town. It is approximately 1.81 km in length, and it has good collection of stores, bars and restaurants. You want to stay there if possible because everything will be in walking distance for you.
Scotland has been making cashmere products for centuries, using its nice soft water to process the fiber. If you look to buy cashmere, you will have plenty opportunities to do it on the Royal Mile.

It offers a collection of attractions including cultural activities, sports, water adventure and history. It’s also famed for several landmarks, including a performing arts venue, a storied sports franchises, a war museum and shopping malls.
