10 Best Seaside Towns in the UK
What are the best seaside towns in the United Kingdom? New towns are developing at the seaside across the UK in addition to those ancient towns and cities. All of these towns and cities are worming their way into the hearts of tourists from home and abroad. With due respect to these towns, and out of a deep sense of duty, we want to identify which of these towns are the best so that we can help the decision-making process for those having reasons to consider seaside towns. On the basis of that, we present to you the 10 best seaside towns in the UK. Please note that most of these best towns in the UK have at one time or the other been the best in England. 10. Swanage, Dorset, England The tenth place we’ll consider as one the best seaside towns in the UK is Swanage in South West of England. The town has been a popular seaside resort since Victorian times. Up till now, families have continued to enjoy its calm shallow beach. This seaside is also one of the 10 best seaside resorts in the UK. With its panoramic views, the seaside resort offers relaxing luxurious holidays in self-catering accommodation in caravans and luxury hot tub lodges. If you want to own a holiday home, they’re available here with unrivaled views across the bay. The town is about one kilometer from the leisurely beautiful Swanage Railway. Its proximity to this and other parks, beaches, and castles makes it a good choice. 9. St Davids, Pembrokeshire, Wales Stepping out of England, we find a small city and community in Pembrokeshire known as St Davids. It is the smallest location in the whole of the United Kingdom with city status. With its stunning coastal scenery unmatched in Pembrokeshire, it’s also the smallest urban area by local authority boundary. One of the reasons for its inclusion on this list is its ability to blend its sacred status with its National Park. St Davids has a relaxed and vibrant atmosphere as you see surf shops, outdoor adventure centers, holiday cottages, and hotels in the shadow of its cathedral. 8. Southwold, England When this town was found in the ninth position on the list of the most popular seaside destinations, we knew that it would be among the 10 best seaside towns in the UK. Now, it is the number 8 on this list. All year round, Southwold remains a tourist attraction, thanks to its dramatic coastline and beautiful architecture. Its cozy pub lunches and walks along its beach are charming. As you walk along its pier, you will see spectacular views as you check in and out of many independent shops. You would love the charming seaside resort of Southwold. Though it’s almost an island, its sandy beach and hut-lined promenade offer a wonderful environment for holidaymakers and weekenders. 7. Filey, North Yorkshire, England Ironically to some, Filey which is a town in the Borough of Scarborough considered unpopular by some people is one of the 10 best seaside towns in the UK. Truly, this beautiful seaside destination in North Yorkshire deserves a slot here as one of the most popular in the UK. It used to be a fishing village before developing into a popular resort with a very large beach that is playing a remarkable role in popularizing it. It is quieter than most of its neighbors and most of the other coastal towns. This is because it has enough accommodations, seats, and transportation. There is no need for any rush here. You can just go there and enjoy your peace.

Top 10 Cities to Visit in Scotland | United Kingdom
Top 10 Cities to Visit in Scotland.
Scotland is generally seen as a destination with beautiful scenery combined with thousands of historic sites and attractions. These include prehistoric stone circles, standing stones and burial chambers, and various Bronze age, Iron age and Stone age remains. There are also many historic castles, houses, and battlegrounds, ruins and museums. Many people are drawn by the culture of Scotland.
The main tourist season is generally from April to October. In addition to these factors, the national tourist agency, Visitscotland, have deployed a strategy of niche marketing, aimed at exploiting, amongst other things, Scotland's strengths in golf, fishing and food and drink tourism.
Number 10. St. Andrews St. Andrews is a must-visit for anyone with an ounce of interest in golf. Now something of a mecca for golfers, the Royal and Ancient Golf Club in St. Andrews was established in 1754, making it the oldest - and most prestigious - course in the world. In addition to its seven golf courses, the excellent British Golf Museum is worth a visit, too. There's much else to see and do here that's not related to the sport of golf. St. Andrews is a university city, home to the country's oldest seat of higher learning, and one of its top accommodation options when school's out.
Number 9. Dumfries From Ayr, it's only a short drive to Dumfries, which also harbors a number of Robbie Burns-related attractions. Topping the list is the poet's former home on Burns Street.
Now an excellent museum dedicated to the poet and his life, it was here Burns lived for the last few years of his life; and thanks to its free admission, the museum is also considered the top thing to do for free in Dumfries. Other must visit attractions include the Dumfries Museum.
Number 8. Ayr the city of Ayr on the west coast of Scotland is well worth exploring, Best known as the birthplace of Robbie Burns. Scotland's most famous poet is celebrated everywhere here. To make sure you don't miss any of the best landmarks related to this legendary Scotsman, follow the Burns' Heritage Trail to Alloway on the outskirts of Ayr.
Number 7. Stirling The lovely university city of Stirling has a long and rich history, especially as it relates to Scotland's struggle for independence through the centuries. Just 50 minutes' drive from both Edinburgh and Glasgow, Stirling is where Scottish king Robert the Bruce sent the English packing in 1314.
Number 6. Perth Just a short hop from Dundee - and accessible by rail from Edinburgh, providing a chance to cross the famous Forth Rail Bridge - the small city of Perth offers a pleasant taste of a less-busy Scotland.
Number 5. Inverness Exploring the Scottish Highlands should be a highlight of your Scotland travel itinerary. And there's no better place to use as your base than the beautiful Highland city of Inverness. From here, you're just a short drive away from such iconic Scottish scenery as Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle, and some of the most memorable views you'll experience in a country that, frankly, is full of incredible vistas.
Number 4. Dundee An easy day trip from Edinburgh, Dundee is famous for its spectacular river crossings. Stretching as far as the eye can see across the Firth of Tay from Dundee all the way to the village of Wormit, Considered one of the world's top rail trips, the views are simply stunning as you travel the structure's two miles of steel.
Number 3. Aberdeen Known locally as the The Flower of Scotland, Aberdeen, like Glasgow, is full of parks and gardens. By far the most famous is Duthie Park, home to the internationally acclaimed David Welch Winter Gardens, one of the UK's biggest indoor gardens. Here, you can visit and enjoy year-round displays of tropical plants and exotic flowers located in a variety of large greenhouses.
Number 2. Glasgow Since its transformation from an industrial city to the cultural center of Scotland, Glasgow has become one of the country's top-rated tourist destinations. Part of this transformation has taken place on former industrial land along the River Clyde, which has been rebuilt and revitalized in the past few decades.
Number 1. Edinburgh Whether you're here for a weekend or a week, Edinburgh offers no end of things to do. While the capital city of Scotland is best known for its incredible medieval castle - Edinburgh castle is consistently ranked as one of the UK's most visited tourist attractions - there are numerous other parts of this beautiful city to explore. old man of storr glencoe things to do in edinburgh

10 Sunniest Places in the UK
What are the top 10 sunniest places in the United kingdom? Of course, the sun favours some parts of the country more than others. They’re the 10 sunniest places in the UK. Imagine going on a staycation only to be met with drizzles from grey skies. We hope to assist our viewers and subscribers to avoid such experiences. Today we’re discussing the place that’s been dubbed “Britain’s Turkey” and the cities in its rank. These places are selected based on measures including average rainfall per annum, temperatures, frosty days and sunshine hours. In doing this, Met Office data from the past 10 years is quite instructive. 10. Birmingham We love to begin this with Birmingham. This city some say offers almost everything you could desire in a big city. Meanwhile, the cost of living in this city is relatively moderate despite its range of nightlife cultural attractions and other impressive sides. Yet, that’s not what we’re about to discuss. We’re after the weather in Birmingham. It has one of Britain’s highest temperature ranges. Here you’ll see relatively high summer. Even then, Brum is one of the greenest cities in the UK with its over 600 parks and open spaces occupying 8,000 acres of park. If the boasts by the city council are anything to go by, that is more than Paris. Could all that be connected to the location of Birmingham in the West Midland on the Birmingham Plateau? We look to geographers and meteorologists to tell us more. 9. Blackpool Well, we’re not discussing Blackpool as the home of The Illuminations known throughout the world as lighting up the promenade usually from late August to early November. Factoring the illuminations, Blackpool would be the sunniest place in the world, not just in the UK. However, though dubbed artificial sunshine, The Illuminations are not as hot as sunshine. With its maritime temperate climate with typically warm rather than hot summers, you rightly expect Birmingham to be cool. That’s what its winters are known for as it is with most of the UK. When summer sets in, however, the story is changed. On most days, it ranges from mild to warm. But there are several hotter days which are usually at their longest in summer when daylight can last well into the evenings. The average daytime temperatures from June to August in the city are between 17 degrees centigrade and 20 degrees centigrade. 8. Liverpool This city, which is a metropolitan borough in Merseyside with a population of 500,500 in 2022 is also a very sunny place. While the climate can be milder in spring, there are some great sunny days. As expected, though, there’s a good mix of cooler and wet weather. If you visit Liverpool in spring, that means you’re one of the visitors who prefer mild to warm weather. From March to May, Liverpool’s average daytime temperatures are between 9 degrees and 16 degrees centigrade. The real deal breaker is summer. Most days during this period in Liverpool range from mild to warm. Yet, hotter days are the big feature as they’re the longest in summer. The average daytime temperature from June to August, in the city is between 17 degrees to 20 degrees centigrade. It has 2 hours of sunshine per day while the sunniest month is May when some 209 hours of sunshine is recorded. 7. Cornwall This is a ceremonial county full of natural beauty. Sharing its north and west borders with the Atlantic Ocean and the southern with the English Channel, it has rugged and wild coastlines and lush, green countryside. This could explain why its sandy shores are always teeming with travellers. But there’s more to that. It has to do with the plenty of sunshine it enjoys. The county sees some 1,541 hours of sunshine annually in a typical year. However, visitors still enjoy their visit to this location even in July which is the hottest month because the weather isn't likely to ever get extremely hot. On the flip side, the weather in this city is also unlikely to get down to freezing, thanks to its strategic geographical location at the Southerly tip of England. 10 Best Small Towns to Live in England
What are the best towns to live in England? Living in England means different things to different people. For some people, it’s either London or nowhere else whenever it comes down to the best places to live in England. Others would consider some other big cities if London is taken out. But did you know there are some who actually desire to live in small towns in England? Please don’t jump to any conclusion as to why they choose to live in a small town. It might not be due to just economic reasons. As you’d see on our list of 12 best small towns to live in England, certain towns have charms and allure that can cause a lover of beauty and nature to consider making them home. 10. Windsor, Berkshire The next of the best small towns to live in England is Windsor in Berkshire. This town, for centuries, remains a popular destination for tourists living in England or the entire United Kingdom and for tourists from all parts of Europe. Those who chose to live in this town may have been attracted by the added fame it once received as the royal wedding venue for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. You could find accommodation in Windsor Castle, the world’s largest occupied castle. Since it’s a weekend and holiday home for the Queen, those living in Windsor consider it a privilege to walk the streets with her majesty without visiting Buckingham palace. 9. Frome, Somerset Now, let’s shift our attention to Frome as one of the 12 best small towns to live in England. We don’t need a lot of explanation that transcends being voted as one of the best places to live in the UK. Though small, this town has quality schools considered one of the best to cater to the needs of families intending to live in a small town in England. Many people living in modern homes in big cities crave living in a small town in a historic and architecturally fascinating building. There are plenty of these in the center of the town of Frome lined with many independent shops. 8. Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire This town is home to the famous Henley Royal Regatta. This boat race coming up in early July always gives the residents of this beautiful spot which was established as a market town in the 12th century the opportunity to interface with thousands of visitors. Henley-on-Thames is chocolaty. Having a respite at Chocolate Café, a local hot spot known for chocolate treats, either hot or cold, is one reason to consider this town one of the best places to live in England. It’s a place people enjoy good cardiovascular health because walking the Thames Path National Trail is a regular part of life in this town. 7. Bakewell, Derbyshire We next turn to Bakewell a small market town in the Dales of Derbyshire County. Bakewell too is among the best small towns to live in England. We agree with the popular opinion that ranks Bakewell well on the basis of its three highly rated principal primary schools, secondary schools, and preparatory school and college. Another one of the attractions making Bakewell one of the most popular small towns in England is its Peak District National Park and Derbyshire Dales. Living in this small town affords you a chance of finding a home in these prestigious locations with their charming stone cottages, attractive rugged moorland, and green valleys.

10 Most Loved Towns in England
What are the most loved towns in England? There is something about the towns in England that makes them famous the world over. Could it be because, in England, there is always a carnival or festival in one place or the other? You probably have to look past the large towns and cities to discover them. That's why we want to look at these 10 most loved towns in England to see why they're loved. Some of these towns are neatly tucked away, in rolling green hills, on rugged cliffs, near forests, or moorland. Others have beaches and rivers. There’s something about these quintessential towns in England that makes them loved. Follow along and see if you too would love these most loved towns in England. 10. Selby We start off with Selby a town in the ceremonial county of North Yorkshire. It is a market town and civil parish in the Selby District. With its status as a town council, Selby is 14 miles south of York on the River Ouse. The town with a population of 14,731 is one of the 10 most loved towns in England. There used to be a large shipbuilding industry in this town which was historically a part of the West Riding of Yorkshire until 1974. It was also an important port on the Selby Canal that was bringing trades from Leeds. Something to be loved about this town is the market towns and picturesque villages. It’s one of the most loved also because house prices there are lower and people get more for their money. 9. Frome When Frome was listed among one of the “Best Places to Live in Britain” by a popular ranking, we know it’s going to be one of the most loved towns in the country. Now, this town and civil parish in eastern Somerset is the ninth most loved town in England. Frome is built on uneven high ground on the Mendip Hills, at the eastern end and it centers on the River Frome. The town about 13 miles south of Bath and the largest in the Mendip District of Somerset is loved for being welcoming, charming, and vibrant. A part of the parliamentary constituency of Somerton and Frome, it has a wealth of history, culture, and natural beauty. People from outside the town love it for its tranquility and antiquity. 8. Maldon The next of the most loved towns in England is Maldon. The town council also in the ceremonial country of North Yorkshire is another town in the county on this list. Of course, North Yorkshire has a lot of loved towns, and this civil parish on the Blackwater estuary in Essex is just one of them. It is the seat of the Maldon District and the starting point of the Chelmer and Blackwater Navigation. Known for Maldon Sea Salt being produced in the area, the town with a population of 14,220 is loved for being a good place to retire. You will find a lot of elderly people from whom you can learn about the rich English history and culture 7. Hart We would love to include Hart here even though it is a local government district. It’s in Hampshire and derived its name from the River Hart with its council based in Fleet. Formed on 1 April 1974 under the Local Government Act of 1972, it doesn’t have city status. However, it’s a merger of the urban district of Fleet, and the Hartley Wintney Rural District. We consider Hart one of the most loved places in England after it was named the best place to live in Britain by the 2017 Halifax Quality of Life study. It’s indeed one of the richest and least deprived areas in the entire United Kingdom, according to the Indices of Deprivation 2015. The town ranked 326th least deprived out of 326 local authorities in England. That’s why people love Hart.
