About David Ha’ivri: I am a Jewish man who loves the land and people of Israel. For over 15 years I led strategic and geopolitical VIP tours in the Shomron for influencers from around the world and from all types of backgrounds, religions and political schools of thought. At some point it dawned on me that my passion is tourism, the land of Israel and sharing its amazing history and beauty with my friends. To turn that passion into a profession I enrolled in the Yad Yitzchak Ben Tzvi Tour Guide school and have become a licensed Israel Tour Guide. The rest is history in the making. So join me on my journey to try to figure out why this very special land has been and still is so important for so many people throughout the ages.

I also provide consultancy for people who would like to build relationships between Israel and movers and shakers around the world for the common benefit of our peoples and shared values.

My favorite singers are Cat Stevens, Harry Chapin, Leonard Cohen, Meir Ariel and Kaveret, but not in any particular order. Ask me about the stories of Pogie, doctor's orders for monthly visits to the terminal, the baffled king composing Hallelujah and peace train.

Would you like to hire me as your personal tour guide for your next visit to Israel? Contact me directly for a price quote and to draft an itinerary plan.

Life is Crazy in this Gaza Border Town 🇮🇱 🇵🇸 (They Build Things With Rockets)

I went to visit the town of Sderot in Israel, one kilometer from the Gaza border. Most of the people left after the October 7th attack, so I wasn't sure what to expect, this is what we found...

I filmed this together with @TheTravelingClatt so don't forget to check out his video here:

My dedication in life is to pass on the ancient history of the Holy Land.

Following upon many years of travel around the world, which was highlighted by a very exciting emotional and soul-searching meeting with the Dalai Lama, I realized that I had a mission. To pass on the the history of the Holy Land, its religions, and in particular, the birth and development of Christianity.

In order to fulfill this calling in the best way possible, I studied in depth, visited, and personally experienced each and every important site of the ancient Christians. I studied for and received my first bachelors degree in the ancient history of the Holy Land, and am presently completing my studies for my second degree.(Masters)

Parralel to my studies, and in order to earn a living, I was employed for many years in advertising. What I learned there was how to attract the publics attention, generate and, increase interest, and assimilate information. All this I use as tools to describe, explain and deepen the interest in the sites that we visit. From my experience, I have learned that in this way, the Holy Land becomes more than just history, and that the large stones that we see scattered about in dissaray, join together one by one until they become - a Byzantine Church. This also happens when I lead a group of Pilgrims in the Steps of Jesus. We climb to the peak of Mount Precipice, glide over the land to the Sea of Galilee, land on the water and see the miracle which enfolds before us. This is a many faceted experience. Not only history which you will remember and cherish, but an experience which I hope will be inplanted in your hearts and minds, and will accompany you all the days of your life.

Resilience through Friendship -- Ambassador Shapiro visits Sderot

Ambassador Shapiro brought messages of solidarity and best wishes for the New Year in his visit to Sderot on September 13. In a city known for its resiliency in the face of rocket attacks from Gaza, Ambassador Shapiro commended the ingenuity and social conscience of its students in his visits to Sapir College and the Hesder Yeshiva. He also shared apples and honey (a New Year's tradition) with Mayor David Buskila in a fortified playground built by the JNF-USA, one of the many symbols of collaboration between the American people and Sderot. From the US Embassy to the Israeli people: shanah tova ve metuka le kol am yisrael!

Ambassador Cunningham visit's to Sderot, June 10, 2010

Ambassador James B. Cunningham visited the Negev city of Sderot and met with Mayor David Buskila who briefed the Ambassador on the city's economic and security concerns. Since the Second Intifada in 2000, the city, situated one kilometer from the Gaza Strip, has been under constant rocket fire which has caused psychological distress, mass emigration, and significant damage to property. The Ambassador addressed current regional issues, endorsed the two-state solution, and reinforced the United States' commitment to peace in the region

Israel Experience 2011: Sderot Police Station

Opera House, Sderot Rothschild, Allenby, Marina Arthur_temple's photos around Tel Aviv, Israel

Preview of Arthur_temple's blog at TravelPod. Read the full blog here:

This blog preview was made by TravelPod using the TripAdvisor™ TripWow slideshow creator.

Entry from: Tel Aviv, Israel
Entry Title: Opera House, Sderot Rothschild, Allenby, Marina...

Entry:
