The 10 best things to do in Augsburg, Germany
The top tourist attractions in Augsburg - one of the oldest cities in Germany.
Read more here:
Augsburg was named a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2019, which is exactly the reason I put together this list of the best things to do in Augsburg. Most international tourists probably never heard of Augsburg before, but the city did play quite an important role in history. The famous Fugger clan had its headquarters here and (indirectly) ruled half of Europe during the Renaissance. As a free city, Augsburg also left its mark on art, especially silver and the goldsmith industry.
From lavish city palaces to magnificent cathedrals, there are just so many places to see in Augsburg.

Short Trip to LANDSBERG am LECH. A nice town with a light feeling of Tirol at Austria. (Germany)
Welcome to a new video/trip report at the south part of Bavaria in Germany. The town Landsberg am Lech (in german language) was for many years on my list to show you’re in for of a video and at this day the weather was good, it was warm and the perfect for a detailed review. Watch my video and find out more what is happened to see in a town which is located at the edge of the Allgäu region near the Alps.
The trip: After spending more days at the south part of upper Bavaria I went by car via the countryside to Landsberg am Lech. I parked my car at the edge of the city wall and went over the old painted tower down to the marking place. The “Bayer Turm” is one building which makes Landsberg famous. At the marking place I enjoyed the feeling of the town and walked again into the streets. At next I went to the place which is famous for the town. The large waterfall at the river. I listen the massive sound of the tons of water which fall ever second some steps down. My next stop was the catholic pastor church next to the marking place. The church was nice and gives me memories at the churches at Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Weilheim at upper Bavaria. The full trip at Landsberg was one of my best cities stays here at the south part of Bavaria. Especially with the light feeling of south Tirol.
About Landsberg am Lech and the region: Landsberg am Lech (german languarge) is a town loceated at the edge of the Allgäu region in Germany. The town has like other town at the south part of Bavaria like Weilheim, Freising as well a light feeling of a town at south Tirol or Tirol at Austria. Landsberg is also known for its many old towers and the large waterfall. Every second over 200 million liters of water falling over some steps down in the river. It gives a massive sound and make the town popular by tourists and people who lives in the town. A half of the water which don´t falls down will pass a kind of channel where the water gets a hard energy from motors which is successful for the town in producing energy. Around the marking place the people can enjoy a walk in the different shops and can make a break in restaurants and coffee shops. But Landsberg in in comparison to other towns not with a high quality of shopping.

What to visit in Bavaria: Seefeld, castle and Pilsensee - Travel Cubed, Germany 4K
Bavaria is really rich in wonderful tourist landmarks. If you wondering what to visit in Bavaria, check our videos, you will find many interesting places. Seefeld is a municipality in the district of Starnberg in Bavaria, Germany. The town lies on the western shore of the Pilsensee (Pilsen Lake). It is connected to the Bavarian capital city of Munich by the S-Bahn line S8. Seefeld is notable for the Seefeld Castle (c. 1302), a seat of the Toering noble family of Bavaria. Seefeld castle lies on the east shore of the Pilsensee. It is entered by a massive brick bridge over the Höllengraben to the fountain courtyard, built-in 1674 after a wooden bridge had collapsed. The gate was built in 1736 in rococo style, with a gable that holds an impressive stone carving of the arms of the counts of Toerring-Jettenbach. The courtyard, with its 1733 fountain, is framed by strong 18th-century farm buildings designed for stabling and brewing. A second bridge leads into the inner courtyard. Built on 10th-century foundations, the donjon was mainly built in the 13th century and renovated in 1500 The domain of Sevuelt am Pilsensee (Seefeld) was owned by the lords of Seefeld. In 1150 Count Berchthold von Andechs obtained part of the forest from the Benedictine abbey. In the 12th and 13th centuries, the lords of Seefeld acquired large estates. The castle is mentioned for the first time in 1302. The keep was built in the middle of the 13th century on a rocky spur above the Pilsensee. The small tower in the southwest of the castle shown on Michael Wening's 1700 drawing was probably older, as was the old north building. The Gothic hall and curtain wall were probably built at the same time as the keep. The first chapel was built in the mid-14th century, first mentioned in 1365. In 1479 this chapel was replaced by the new one built between the keep and the curtain wall by Seyfried von Toerring and inaugurated on 28 December 1479. Also in 1479, a fortified tower was built in the southeast of the castle complex. In 1500 the tower and the donjon were restored. A brewery was built at Seefeld in 1601. The bridge collapsed in 1674 and was rebuilt at a high cost in brick. The Counts of Toerring-Jettenbach, followers of the Wittelsbachs from the 14th century, were very influential at the court of the Electorate and Kingdom of Bavaria. In 1730 Count Ignaz Felix von Törring-Jettenbach was made field marshal of Bavaria. Extensive construction was undertaken from 1730 onward, including a new brewery, cowshed, and barn, an upgrade to the sawmill, replacement of the inner castle bridge, erection of a fountain in the outer courtyard, and reconstruction of the gatehouse. The chapel also received much of its present furnishings in this period. In 1766 an extension was added on the east side. The chapel was rebuilt in 1775–76 and a French roof replaced the older steep gable roof of the castle. The lodge to the southwest was built by Gabriel Seidl in 1897.

AUGSBURG, GERMANY 2023 4K WALKING TOUR
Augsburg is a city in Swabia, Germany, around 50 kilometres west of Bavarian capital Munich. It is a university town and regional seat of the Regierungsbezirk Swabia with an impressive Altstadt (historical city centre). Augsburg is an urban district and home to the institutions of the Landkreis Augsburg. It is the third-largest city in Bavaria (after Munich and Nuremberg), with a population of 304,000 and 885,000 in its metropolitan area.
After Neuss, Trier, Cologne and Xanten, Augsburg is one of Germany's oldest cities, founded in 15 BC by the Romans as Augusta Vindelicorum and named after the Roman emperor Augustus. It was a Free Imperial City from 1276 to 1803 and the home of the patrician Fugger and Welser families that dominated European banking in the 16th century. According to Behringer, in the sixteenth century it became the dominant centre of early capitalism, having benefited from being part of the Kaiserliche Reichspost system as the location of the most important post office within the Holy Roman Empire and the city's close connection to Maximilian I. The city played a leading role in the Reformation as the site of the 1530 Augsburg Confession and the 1555 Peace of Augsburg. The Fuggerei, the oldest social housing complex in the world, was founded in 1513 by Jakob Fugger.
In 2019 UNESCO recognized the Water Management System of Augsburg as a World Heritage Site because of its unique medieval canals and water towers and its testimony to the development of hydraulic engineering.

Places to see in ( Munich - Germany ) Westpark
Places to see in ( Munich - Germany ) Westpark
The Westpark is a large urban public park in Munich, Germany. It was designed by landscape architect Peter Kluska and completed in 1983. It hosted the International Garden Expo 83 that same year. The park covers an area of 720,000 m2 (7,750,016 sq ft) (178 acres) extending 2.6 km from east to west. The Garmischer Straße divides the park into an eastern and western section.
The rose garden is made up of more than 20,000 roses and 500 different rose species. There also are two popular beer gardens. The western lake features a stage area (Seebühne) hosting open air movie screenings, live music and theater shows during the summer season.
Four of the originally 23 national gardens of the exhibit are preserved. The very first authentic Chinese garden in Europe is a walled garden that might have been constructed for an historic scholar. Around a pond the walkways leads along the four seasons and four parts of a lifetime. The Japanese garden was a gift from Munich's sister City Sapporo and combines elements from the Heian period.
A Nepali pagoda was carved by 200 master carvers and transported to Munich. A free standing Thai-Sala hosts the first consecrated Gautama Buddha statue in Germany. The Mollsee is an artificial lake situated in the eastern section of the park. It frequently attracts model boat enthusiasts.
