La Marquesa, un lugar a las afueras de la Ciudad de México con inmensas extensiones boscosas, cabañas románticas, actividades familiares y cosas deliciosas qué comer. El Parque Nacional Insurgente Miguel Hidalgo, lugar donde aconteció la Batalla del Monte de las Cruces en 1810, mejor conocido como La Marquesa es hoy uno de los puntos recreativos más buscados por los habitantes de la ciudad debido a sus impresionantes paisajes, su rica comida, pero sobre todo su atmosfera amigable y familiar donde se puede hacer desde pesca hasta lanzarse de la tirolesa o cursar circuitos en cuatrimoto. Recomendamos La Marquesa para todo aquel que quiera escapar un día o un fin de semana de la rutina y disfrutar de los paisajes boscosos y el aire tan limpio que solo se encuentra en lugares tan frondosos y mágicos como este.

🇲🇽 TOLUCA, MEXICO - Why have I never been here before!!!?
Hola amigos and welcome back to my 2020 Mexico travel series! This is Part 5 and in this video, we head to the west of Mexico City to Toluca, the 5th largest city in Mexico, one which I cannot believe more people don't visit! We check out some INSANE Mexican food *(comida Mexicana!) by outside the Cosmovitral while doing a mini Mexican food tour, including the insanely bright Chorizo Verde as well as Tacos de Obispo - two dishes very much unique to Toluca! If you enjoy a classic Mexican food hunt, these could be the dishes for you!
As mentioned, we also visit the Cosmovitral - a huge building in the middle of Toluca which used to be the 16th September market until the 70s. It was converted into a botanical garden and is the world's largest example of stained glass - it's truly spectacular!
So, if you're planning a 2020 Mexico trip or vacation (or looking for things to do in Toluca), particularly to Mexico City, consider adding Toluca to your itinerary. Despite some things being closed in Mexico due to Covid-19, I was actually pleasantly surprised that a lot of things were open in Toluca!

Located in Mexico's central region, the state of San Luis Potosi has fast-flowing rivers, mountain areas covered with lush vegetation and arid zones with abundant brushwood.
San Luis Potosi was founded in the colonial era during the mining boom. As you check out the streets and buildings of some of the old mining towns like Real de Catorce, you'll realize that the magic and charm has been preserved.
In the city of San Luis Potosi, the state capital, you'll see unique architecture and can visit museums with interesting collections of Teenek crafts. The Teeneks live in nearby towns, such as Santa Maria del Rio, where you can buy fine hand-made shawls, cotton garments and colorful embroidered items. Later you can visit the Gogorron National Park, where you can go hiking and mountain bike riding.
In San Luis Potosi's Huasteca region, you can observe diverse flora and fauna at El Potosi National Park, or you can go cave diving at the Media Luna Lagoon, near Rio Verde.
In Ciudad Valles you can go diving in the Pozo Azul at Puente de Dios. Nearby, be sure to visit the Tamul and Micos waterfalls, ideal spots for fishing and rappelling. During your visit, we recommend that you experience the rush of paragliding at Sotano de las Golondrinas and enjoy the thrill of a rafting adventure down the Tampaon River. You'll also want to check out the ruins at El Consuelo.
