¿CÓMO ES SANTA ELENA PETEN? GUATEMALA
Si es la primera vez que viajas Santa Elena Petén, este centro comercial es lo primera vez que veras (bueno hay algo, mas antes pero pequeño) si necesitas llegar a la Isla de Flores sigue derecho y puedes guiarte con el video.
Santa Elena de la Cruz es un municipio en el departamento de Petén, ubicado en el norte de Guatemala. Petén es el departamento más grande de Guatemala y tiene una gran riqueza natural y arqueológica.
Santa Elena de la Cruz es la cabecera municipal del municipio homónimo y se encuentra cerca de la frontera con México. La ciudad está situada en la selva del Petén y es un importante centro de servicios para la región. Es conocida por su ambiente tranquilo y su proximidad a varios sitios arqueológicos importantes, como Tikal y Uaxactún.
Tikal es uno de los destinos turísticos más populares de Guatemala y es considerado uno de los mayores yacimientos arqueológicos de la civilización maya. Fue una ciudad importante durante el período clásico de la civilización maya y cuenta con impresionantes estructuras como templos, pirámides y plazas. Uaxactún, por su parte, es otro sitio arqueológico maya de gran importancia y también está ubicado en las cercanías de Santa Elena de la Cruz.
