In the name of God Hello everyone Kurdistan province is a part of the land that was administered under the rule of the Medes. Kurds are one of the famous branches of the Aryan race that entered Iran from the east about 2000 years before Christ and migrated to the northwest and east of Lake Urmia, and researchers have no doubt that they are Aryans. The climate of the province is relatively cold in the northern region and moderately mountainous in the southern regions and has high and dry plateaus and fertile plains such as Marivan plain, Obatu plain, Ilaq or Dehgolan plain, Qarowe plain and Kamiyaren plain. According to the natural condition and topography of the region, the rivers of the province have special characteristics, such as the river bed being lower than the level of the adjacent lands, water rising in the spring season, unusable for sailing, etc.
These rivers enter the three basins of the Caspian Sea, Lake Urmia and Iraqi soil. Visit of Sanandaj City of Kurdistan, IRan |Vlog| |Positivity|
Iranian Kurdistan is northwestern Iran with a majority population of Kurds. Geographically, it includes the West Azerbaijan Province, Kurdistan Province, Kermanshah Province, Ilam Province and parts of Hamadan Province and Lorestan Province. Sanandaj, City is the capital of Kurdistan Province of Iran. Sanandaj is known for its many mountain caves, hot springs, and freshwater lakes, many of which cater to tourists. The nature around Sanandaj is very beautiful.
Sanandaj Bazar can be considered to be the main traditional bazaar in all Kurdistan province. Its construction dates back to 400 years ago. This roofed bazaar was built the reign of Safavid kings; when Sanandaj was the capital of Ardalan rulers. In that time, Soleiman Khan Ardalan was the governor of Sanandaj Sanandaj Bazar is divided into two separated parts. currently, the southern section is named Asef and the northern one called Sanandaji. In spite of constructing many new shopping centers in Sanandaj, old bazaar is still standing, playing its main role in the business of the city and people use it more than before. Different goods and services are offered in this bazar and most of the people in Sanandaj provide their required items from there. What added to the attraction of this place is the existence of stores related to traditional jobs like forging, goldsmithing and junk shop. There are four types of Persian bread which are very popular and mostly used by people, named Barbari, Sangak, Taftoon, and Lavash. However, there are also some other types in every village and the city around the country. During my visit in the City, I stopped to a #bakery and a Barbari Bread. Eating fresh baked Barbari Bread is very delicious. Khana e Kurd or Kurd House, is an anthropology #museum. The house is not only a #building. It gives a history of the Kurdish life. If you have a guided tour, then it would be a good chance to learn about the Kurds in Iran. It is not only an architecture. It reveals part of the #Kurdish #history while it is an open door to the #culture of this people. I enjoyed being in the place, and I had a #tea in its #coffee house. Jameh Mosque was built in Qajar period and is located in the #heart of #Sanandaj. This mosque represents the glory of #Islamic #architecture at #Qajar era was established by the governor of the time and became one of the #historical and visitable #monuments for its specific features. Jameh Mosque of Kurdistan is the most glorious and elegant mosque in Kurdistan #Province and application of perfect construction materials for building and decorating it, its vast adobe tilings accompanied by inscriptions and writings are prominent features of the mosque. The building of the #mosque was built in 1227 #hijri year by Aman Allah Khan #Ardalan, the #governor of #Kurdistan.

Iranian Kurdistan - Less traveled but incredibly authentic! EP20
I am off for a little adventurous trip to Kurdistan province in Iran with my friends! Kurdistan is off the beaten path for traveler, and it feels so different from central Iran, so get ready for some Kurdish culture and nice (strange) food in
1. Sanandaj, the capital of Kurdistan Province. 2. Palangan, a traditional iranian kurdish village rising steeply up the sides of a valley amid the Zagros mountains boerding Iraq!
