Cholula Puebla is a great place to visit when you’re traveling in Puebla Mexico. In this Mexico Travel Vlog we take you all around Cholula Puebla Mexico showing you things to do (que hacer en cholula) and what to eat while giving you some history along the way.
Cholula Puebla is divided into two towns, San Pedro Cholula and San Andres Cholula with the Zona Archeological de Cholula in the middle which features the Great Pyramid of Cholula and The Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de los Remedios. We are going to take you exploring around each of Cholula’s towns as well as to through the archeological zone and up to the church. Cholula has a lot to offer and is a wonderful place in Puebla Mexico to spend some time in. What to do in Cholula Mexico | Cholula Pyramid and Beautiful Churches
The Cholula pyramid is the world's largest pyramid! The base is 4 times larger as the Pyramid of Giza in Egypt. The state of Puebla in Mexico is home to this pyramid and many beautiful churches. The church built on top of the pyramid is the Santuario de la Virgen de los Remedios, but there are other beautiful churches in Cholula (and Puebla) like the Templo de San Francisco de Acatepec and the Parroquia de San Pedro. Unfortunately the ruins were closed during our visit this year in 2021, but we have been before so we included earlier footage of the ruins.

San Pedro Cholula is part of the bigger city of Cholula. Cholula is located in Puebla, Mexico. It is located just to the east of Mexico City.
In this vlog we are visiting the central square. Cholula is best known for the Great Pyramid of Cholula.
Pictured in the main square is the Parroquia de San Pedro Cholula. You can see the damage caused to this church by the earthquake, as well as some of the other buildings in the area.
We are walking by parks, and play grounds. This is a beautiful spot to spend the afternoon, or morning in our case. It is close to the Pyramid, so it makes for a great stop along the way!
