Late on a Monday we decided to go on a trip and camp for a night in Västergötland. The weather has been bad to say the least but the heavy rain was due to stop and the day after to be quite good. So in with some stuff and off we went. I revisited some sites from before and saw some new ones. We visited Gudhem Abbey Ruins, Varnhem Monastery and ruins and the ancient megalithic site of Ekornavallen. There were other stops on the way and one caught on camera was Floby Military Surplus store. All in all, the weather didn’t stop us and I got to try out some equipment and get in the mood for the summer to come.

Det järnhaltiga vattnet har sipprat fram ur bergen i hundratals, kanske tusentals, år. Länge hade dalgången där källan ligger rykte om sig att vara tillhåll för rövare och det var ingen som vågade sig dit. I slutet av 1600-talet upptäcktes det att källan var bra för hälsan och Ramlösas era som brunnsort startade. Idag finns många av de vackra byggnaderna kvar från källans storhetstid i början av 1800-talet. Gångarna i parken kantas av vackra blommor, alléer med gamla träd och en lekpark.I Helsingborg finns mycket att upptäcka utomhus i och omkring staden.
