Tiny Tour | Roc de Sant Gaietà Spain | Revisit the hidden gem on Costa Daurada | July 2021
Special thanks to the Restaurant Cal Sisquet for helping filming this episode.
Roc de Sant Gaietà is a Typical fishing village, Mediterranean style, located in the town Roda de Berà, facing the sea. The construction began in 1964 and ended in 1972. The idea was to build a fishing village on the rocks.
They built apartment houses on the seafront, designed in the style of the villages, they made courtyards like those in Granada, Andalusia and Seville, which were complemented by Romanesque, Arabic, Gothic and other buildings and ornaments. The Spanish geography gives an air of “typical town” to which popularly they called “Spanish Town”. They also built a pier, which is still in operation.
It is a place of great tourist interest, pleasant and surprising, a hidden jewel on the Costa Dorada.
