Kwekwe Zimbabwe is a city in the Midlands province of central Zimbabwe. Kwekwe is the 6th largest city in Zimbabwe. Kwekwe town and neighbouring Redcliff are the headquarters ZISCO, the country's largest steelworks. It also hostsZIMASCO, the largest ferrochrome producer. Kwekwe is Zimbabwe's richest city in terms of minerals.
Like most urban areas in Zimbabwe, the city of Kwekwe hosts dozens of schools. Amaveni High School, Mbizo High School and Manunure High School recently expanded to offer A-level classes. Amaveni High serves the high density suburb of Amaveni while Mbizo and Manunure serve the high density suburb of Mbizo. Shungu High School is located about 16 km from Kwekwe. It is a Catholic run school. The middle-class suburbs close to the city centre have Kwekwe High School and Goldridge College, plus the primary schools including Goldridge Primary School, Fitchlea Primary School, Kwekwe Junior High School and Globe & Phoenix Primary School, Maryward Primary School and Sally Mugabe Primary School.

Grace Mugabe developed the farm while her husband was president
Illegal workers have invaded the farm of former Zimbabwean first lady Grace Mugabe to mine for gold.
Reporters from the Zimbabwean newspaper Newsday found them uprooting lemon trees, digging shafts and loading gold ore into lorries.
After unsuccessfully confronting them on Thursday, Mrs Mugabe reported the matter to the police.
The farm is in Mazowe, where she had forcefully evicted villagers in 2015 - while her husband was still in power.

Mrs Mugabe said in a statement to the police obtained by the New Zimbabwe website that she was touring the farm when she was shocked to find approximately 400 men illegally panning for gold.
When she confronted them at the farm, some 40km (25 miles) north of Harare, she said they started to shout obscenities at me and continued with their unlawful activities.
Newsday reports that one worker shouted at her:
You no longer have any power to remove us. This is the new dispensation, we do what we want.
Last year Mrs Mugabe was widely reported to be preparing to replace her aging husband as president of Zimbabwe.
But the rumours were not welcomed by parts of the ruling party and he was ousted from office in November, to be replaced by his long-time ally Emmerson Mnangagwa.

As you will see in the video, I was shattered when I received the message while standing by their gate that actually they do not open on Thursdays... Oh I was so broken because this could have been said way earlier in our several communications. However, one of the owners was extremely kind and apologetic that I ended up making what would later become one of the best decisions on this 4 provinces expedition we had embarked on. Seeing all the animals in the sanctuary, it was an amazing & inspiring learning experience. This family is hands on, literally sacrificing their own comfort & so many other things for wildlife's wellbeing & for us to learn more about the beauty our country has. It's about Gweru Zimbabwe in this video explored by a drone. Gweru is one of Zimbabwe's major towns located in the Midlands Province. Originally an area known to the indigenous Ndebele as The Steep Place because of the Gweru River's high banks.
Gweru city has a population of 142,000 making it the 5th largest city in Zimbabwe. Gweru is known for farming activities in beef cattle, crop farming, and commercial gardening of crops for the export market. It is also home to a number of colleges and universities.
