In Konkan having a lots of beach and historicals places like Forts, Palces, etc. we cover all tousit places in konkan and near by konkan.There are several places to visit in Konkan Coast owing to the long coastline along the beautiful blue azure waters of the Arabian sea. While Tarkali is famous for its golden sand beaches, Harihareshwar is known for its temple and rocky Harihareshwar Beach. The famous Ganpatipule, is well known for the Ganapati temple on the shore and also its beautiful beach. Konkan nature is to beautiful in mansoon. and having a best beach in konkan or konkan village . in konkon they celebrating a konkani ranmanus also.
Another tourist place in Konkan that is well known is Alibaug. The beautiful Alibag beach is popular amongst tourists. Alibaug also has few other beaches out of which Varsoli and Nagaon Beach are well known. The Kolaba/Aligarh Fort also attracts tourists. Another must visit place in the Konkan Coast is Ratnagiri, famous for the Thiba Palace and also Ratnadurg Fort.
Tourists also love visiting Chiplun where the star attraction is Sawatsada Waterfall. Other popular places to visit on the Konkan coast are Dapoli, Murud, Kashid etc. Most of these places are also known for the water sports they offer to the tourists.

Ratnagiri is a port town in Maharashtra, western India. Overlooking the Arabian Sea, Ratnadurg Fort has the Bhagwati temple and a lighthouse. Northeast, a fish museum and aquarium includes turtles and a whale skeleton. Thibaw Palace was the residence of the exiled king of Burma. North of the city, Ganpatipule Temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesh. Northeast, Koyna Wildlife Sanctuary is a forested area sheltering tigers.

1 #RATNAGIRI_FORT -- Ratnagiri Fort, also called Ratnadurg Fort or Bhagawati Fort (Marathi: रत्नदुर्ग), is a fort located 2 km from Ratnagiri, in Ratnagiri district, of Maharashtra. This fort is an important fort in Ratnagiri district. The fort is a main tourist attraction due to the Bhagawati Temple inside the fort.
2 #MANDAVI_BEACH -- At a distance of 2 km from Ratnagiri Bus Stand, Mandavi Beach is located in the vicinity of Ratnagiri Town of Maharashtra. This is one of the most crowded beaches in Ratnagiri region.
3 #THIBA_POINT -- This place has baby boats for fun .a mini train ride . Trampoline amd fewnprher kids rides these are paid ones costing 20 into approximately. Also there are normally garden toys like seesaw , swing , slides etc. They have a viewing pointbftom where you can see the both the scenic beauty if the water bodies and see the houses around it.
4 #THIBA_PALACE -- This place needs better maintenance. If you are in the city of Ratnagiri, just drop in for sometime. A very good piece of architecture. Exteriors are good and picturesque but not many things to see, inside the Palace.
5 #BHATYE_BEACH -- The western coast of India is located between Kerala and Gujarat and extends from the Arabian Sea to the Western Ghats. Its total length is 1400 km, width ranges from 10 km to 80 km, and the elevation ranges from 150 m to 300 m above sea level.
6 #LOKMANYA_TILAK_BIRTHPLACE -- Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak, who was the leader of the independence struggle is known as Father of the Indian unrest against the British rule. He was born in 1856 in Ratnagiri. Lokmanya Tilak lived for 10 years in a typical Konkani house which is situated in the Tilak colony in the centre of the city of Ratnagiri.
7 #RATNAGIRI_MARINE_FISH_MUSEUM -- At a distance of 2.5 km from Ratnagiri Bus Stand, Marine Aquarium and Museum is located on Ratnagiri - Bhagwati Mandir Road next to Mandavi Beach in Ratnagiri Town.
8 #GANPATI_TEMPLE -- The Ganesh Temple at Ganpatipule in Ratnagiri district of kokan which is located at a distance of 350 kms. from Mumbai is very ancient, right from the Peshwas. In ancient literature like Mudgal - puran etc. this Lambodara's (Ganesh) temple is being referred as Paschim Dwar-Devata (Western Sentinal God).
9 #PATIT_PAVAN_MANDIR -- Patit Pawan Mandir is a Hindu temple in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra, India. It was built by Shriman Bhagojisheth Keer in 1931
10 #RATNAGIRI_LIGHTHOUSE -- The western coast of India is located between Kerala and Gujarat and extends from the Arabian Sea to the Western Ghats. Its total length is 1400 km, width ranges from 10 km to 80 km, and the elevation ranges from 150 m to 300 m above sea level. It is characterized by sandy beaches, mud-flats, sand-dunes, alluvial tracts, estuaries, lagoons, residual hills and more. It lacks deltas as the short and swift rivers are not able to make deltas in this coast.

Our road trip to Ratnagiri Maharashtra was one among the beautiful journey and totally a new experience we had. In this Vlog, I have shared such amazing places situated in Ratnagiri and the outskirts of it. Right from seeking blessings from Lord Ganesha at Ganpatipule, talking about Ganpatipule, one must visit Aare ware beach which is hardly 10 km from Ganpatipule mandir, which is super duper neat and well-maintained beach I have ever been to. We Enjoyed those long walks near Velneshwar beach surrounded by coconut trees all over, not to forget our Jaigad fort jetty ride on the boat along with our Tata Nano, walking through the dense forest at night while heading our home till enjoying the scenic beauty of the village, Ratnagiri is totally worth it to get a break from your tight schedule and get some fresh air. In this video, I have shared some hidden pilgrim's situated on the outskirts of Ratnagiri, namely Hedvi Ganpati Mandir, Velneshwar temple and beach, Jai Vinayak temple near Jaigad jetty, so don't miss to watch the video till the end.👐🏻 #ganpatipule #ganpatipulemandir #velneshwarmandir #velneshwarbeach #hedviganpatimandir #aarewarebeach
