Historical Bridge in Roodsar, Gilan Province, Iran 2022
Historical monuments of Tamijan village, Rudsar, Gilan province, IRAN, 2022. This bridge is located on the relatively full river of Tamijan, in the village of Tamijan, between Rudsar and Amlash, and apparently its original building is from the Safavid period, which was repaired and rebuilt during the Qajar period. This bridge is located along a road that was built throughout Mazandaran and Gilan during the Safavid period and became known as Shah Abbasi Road. The foundation is made of brick, the floor is of stone and has four wide arches. Its length is 60 m. with a width of 5 m. There are a few chambers within the bridge, so as to shelter travellers.

شهر زیبا و جذاب #رودسر در استان #گیلان (#شمال_ایران ) جزو یکی از مناطق نادری است که مابین دریا و کوهستان قرار گرفته و روستاهایی جذاب در دل دشت و کوه و دریا در خود جای داده. شهری دیدنی در 88 کیلومتری شرق گیلان که به چهار بخش مرکزی، کلاچای، چابکسر و رحیم آباد تقسیم بندی می شود. این شهرستان از شمال به دریا، از جنوب به رشته کوه های البرز، از شرق به استان مازندران و از غرب به لنگرود متصل می شود. این بخش از نظر ناهمواری به دوبخش کوهستانی و جلگه ای تقسیم شده که البته بخش قسمت اعظمش را بخش کوهستانی آن تشکیل می شود. بازار هفتگی رودسر در روز های یکشنبه (یکشنبه بازار رودسر) در نزدیکی مرکز شهر برگزار میگردد.

Rudsar city is one of the cities of Gilan province in Iran. The center of this city is Rudsar city. This city with the old name of Husem is the center of Zaidian rule and the anchor of Vashmgir son of Ziarian family and the birthplace of Buyeh family (Buyeh village, now Amlash). The first main occupation of the people of Rudsar was after the emergence of this fishing area. Seidar Mahalla or Seid Gar Mahalla: One of the old neighborhoods of Rudsar city, which according to a tradition was originally called Seidgar Mahalla because of the residence of local fishermen in this area who were engaged in fishing on the shores of the Caspian Sea and the surrounding rivers. It was called Sidr Mahalla.
Rudsar has been one of the important centers of silkworm breeding, silkworm breeding and silk yarn production (it should be noted for the importance of the issue, silk yarn was the only export of the Safavid government).

This brick bridge has been constructed on the Tamijan River, 6 km southwest of Rudsar in Gilan province. Although there are no inscriptions and monuments or other monuments in it, but the type of arches (gabled arches) and the materials used in it can be attributed to the Safavid period. According to popular manuscripts, the construction of this bridge dates back to the reign of Behzad Bey over Gilan (corresponding to 90 to 1000 AH). The body and legs of the bridge are made of brick, but the floor of the bridge is paved and has four large spans. There are also smaller openings on either side of these openings. The bridge is 60 meters long and 5 meters wide. In the body of the bridge there are several rooms whose arches are skillfully built. These arches were probably used by passers-by and caravans during the rainy season. On both sides of the bridge, a 50 cm high brick shelter was built to prevent people and livestock from falling.
