A day trip in Khao Yai National Park in Nakhon Nayok Thailand - A Beautiful place to visit and just relax in nature.
I also added a little review and travel vlog on this place.
Khao Yai National Park
Established in 1962 as Thailand's first national park, it is the third largest national park in Thailand. Situated mainly in Nakhon Ratchasima Province, Khao Yai extends into Prachinburi, Saraburi and Nakhon Nayok provinces. The main checkpoint of the park is 180 km from Bangkok.
The park covers an area of 2,168 km², including rain/evergreen forests and grasslands. 1,351 meters tall Khao Rom is the highest mountain within the park. The average altitude of the national park ranges from 400 to 1,000 meters asl.
Khao Yai is part of the Dong Phayayen-Khao Yai Forest Complex; a World Heritage Site declared by UNESCO, covering 5 protected areas from Khao Yai to Cambodian border. The other protected areas are; Pang Sida National Park, Thap Lan National Park, Ta Phraya National Park and Dong Yai Wildlife Sanctuary.
The rainy season is from May to October with high humidity and with the most rainfall in September. The rest of the year is quite dry. November to February are the winter months with cooler weather and average temperatures of 22 °C during the day and down to 9-10 °C during the night.

► Join my little tour of a favorite place of mine for a daytrip : Chet Sao Noi. It's another of Thailands numerous National Reserves, and home to a waterfall by the same name (or to make it slightly more complicated Namtok Chet Sao Noi to be specific - Try to pronounce that with a potato in your mouth.)
Chet Sao Noi Isn't particular tall or anything, but it stands out by being spread out over 7 different levels, with 30-40 meters between each level. It's brimming with wildlife and fish in the river, making it an amazing place for a walk - with or without a camera. - Enjoy!

Thailand Road Trip
Road trip time from Prachin Buri down to Chumphon (and back)
I visited Chumphon for a few days and did some filming along the way.
It is a long drive but you can stop along the way and enjoy the sights as you pass through some lovely towns, villages and scenery.
Once around Bangkok, it was miles of clear roads to enjoy and a nice restaurant to stop at Hua Hin.
The return trip had some bad weather to contend with but I made it back safely.

Sa Kaeo is without a doubt ONE OF THAILAND'S HIDDEN GEMS 🇹🇭. It's not your typical tourist attraction province and for that very reason much of this province is left untapped. But that is what makes it all that much more fun, at least to us. To explore and discover landscapes like the ones we did in Sa Kaeo and Pranchin Buri that you don't see represented much to the masses is such a thrill. And while there aren't lots of bells and whistles, there is plenty of natural beauty to see and more than enough reasons to make it a stop on your journey through this incredible country! Sa Kaeo proves that it doesn’t matter what direction you travel in this gorgeous country there is always adventure right around the corner in the most unusual places.
In this vlog we take you with us to a small province just east of Bangkok and only about 48 kilometers from the Thai-Cambodia border. While it’s not quite exactly a city full of bells and whistles like those surrounding the province it is still a fun place to visit. During the dry season, we’d recommend maybe 2 days. But when the water is full steam ahead in those rivers, there are so many water adventures to take advantage of so extend that even longer!
And while this trip didn’t exactly go as planned, we still find the time to enjoy the simple things and really take in all we can. So sit back, relax, and join us!!
