This week we take you along for our first visit to beautiful, historic Petoskey, Michigan! We'll share good restaurants, history, and fun things to do in Petoskey MI.
Even though we visited Petoskey in the shoulder season (early May), the weather was great and we found a ton of great things to see and do. After visiting Petoskey, we absolutely understand why thousands of visitors have flocked to this summer oasis for well over 100 years! We look forward to going back during the prime summer season when everything is open and the foliage is in full bloom!
Our basecamp for our time in Northern Michigan was Hearthside Grove Luxury Motorcoach Resort.

These towns were really well kept and I can see why the price tag on many of these homes was so high. These areas seemed very polished, safe, and family friendly - definitely worth visiting next time you're in Michigan!!

Things to See and Do in PETOSKEY MICHIGAN
There are many things to see and do in Petoskey, Michigan. Located along Little Traverse Bay in northern Lower Michigan, Petoskey is home to a beautiful downtown area with a lot of shops and restaurants as well as some great parks. I check out the downtown area, get some lunch at Lost Village Pierogi, go to the original Kilwin's location for some fresh ice cream hand dipped in their fresh chocolate, and visit a few parks including the Bear River Valley Recreation Area and Bayfront Park.
