Time-Lapse - Ozark, AR - Fayetteville, AR - Pea Ridge, AR - Van Buren, AR | Slow TV
Pea Ridge is located in Benton County, which is in the Northwest corner of the state.
We are home to the Pea Ridge National Military Park. The Battle of Pea Ridge was one of the largest battles west of the Mississippi River. The park is considered one of the most pristine in the National Park System.
Although we have experienced considerable growth we still hold on to our rich heritage and history of the area. A unique feature of our city is that all city streets are named after participants of the Battle of Pea Ridge. The East/West streets are named after confederate soldiers and the North/South streets are named after the union soldiers. History is truly alive in our city.
Northwest Arkansas is the home of world class businesses such as Walmart and Tyson Foods. The University of Arkansas is located just a few miles South in Fayetteville. Beautiful Beaver Lake is also nearby.
Just a short drive from Pea Ridge, the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, a must see if you are in the area.

Travel Guide - OUTER BANKS | Day Tour | Top 5 Places to Visit | Things to Do | OBX | NC | USA
Outer banks (OBX) are a group of wonderful barrier islands located on the east coast of the United States, separating the Atlantic Ocean from the mainland. In this video, I portrayed some of the scenic places I explored during my visit to the banks and tried to add them in a detailed manner. It can be a perfect itinerary for someone who has time limits or only a single day to visit these majestic places. If this comes to help to anyone planning their trips to OBX, I would be very delighted. Thanks for watching the videos.

Pea Ridge Military Park Tour
While in the Ozarks I stopped at the Pea Ridge Military Park in Garfield, AR. The 4300 acre battlefield showcases the history of the Battle at Pea Ridge during the Civil War. The Pea Ridge Military Park has 10 stops along the self guided tour full of history. This is just a glimpse of what I saw there and hope you enjoy it.

Exploring America's Battlefields: Pea Ridge Arkansas' Largest Northern Victory
Visiting a piece of America's history is always something at the top of my list, so many times I find myself venturing out to battlefields to see first hand the historic depictions of our early years as a country. Not only are they a great place to visit to learn more about the history of the United States, but many times you might be shocked at just how incredibly peaceful these hallowed grounds happen to be. As a part of the America the Beautiful Pass program, admission to these is covered and many find their way to these sites for a great hiking get away with well maintained trails.

Pea Ridge National Military Park | Making Our Way Through Arkansas | VLOG Day 5
Before heading out of Horseshoe Bend Campground, we wanted to visit Pea Ridge National Military Park. It is one of the most intact Civil War Battlefields in the country. Dylan loves history and we try to encourage that whenever possible. The only downside is that the visitor center and museum are temporarily closed, but Dylan still enjoyed reading all of the signs posted around the battlefield. After leaving, it was off to our next destination...where are we headed this time? We will let you know in today's video!

Arizona, known as the Grand Canyon State, is located in the American Southwest. Admitted as the 48th State of the Union in 1912, Arizona is home to the Grand Canyon and various terrain, climates, and cultures. To the west are California and Nevada, to the north is Utah, to the east is New Mexico, to the northeast is Colorado, and to the south is the Mexican state of Sonora. It is one of the Four Corners states.
The state is defined by the Grand Canyon in the north, the Mogollon Rim in the central mountainous region, and the Sonoran Desert to the south. Scattered among these regions, features such as the red rocks of Sedona, the tall, wind-swept towers of Monument Valley, and the saguaro-filled desert valleys around Phoenix and Tucson add depth and character to the landscape of Arizona.
Another prominent feature of the Arizona landscape, a Ponderosa Pine forest, stretches across the state from the White Mountain region around Greer and Alpine across the Mogollon Rim to the San Francisco Peaks north of Flagstaff. This pine strip extends beyond the Grand Canyon onto the Kaibab Plateau and into Southern Utah.
Humphreys Peak, part of the San Francisco Peaks, is the highest point in Arizona, with 12,611 feet. Baldy Peak, located in the White Mountains, is the second-highest point with 11,490 feet. In the SouthwestSouthwest of the state, the Sonoran Desert stretches out of Mexico and into Arizona, with elevations as low as about 100 feet above sea level in the Lower Colorado River Valley.
