Traversée par la vallée touristique de l'Austreberthe, la commune de Barentin bénéficie de paysages uniques et d'un cadre bien vert.
Un musée dans la ville permet d'apprécier différentes statues un peu partout dans la commune. There are few music lovers who are not familiar with reggaeton music, especially those who love Latin music. Reggaeton is a type of urban music which gained popularity with the youth of Latin America during the latter part of 1990s. After gaining wide popularity, this particular genre of music slowly spread to Asian, European, and North American audiences. The origin of this type of music can be found in Panama. It was not long before this type of music also made its presence felt in Puerto Rico.
It was after this that a change came into being and this marked the evolution of new reggaeton. Basically this genre of music mixes together West Indian music like dancehall and reggae along with Latin American music like electronica, contemporary R&B, hip hop, bachata, cumbia, latin pop, meringue, salsa, plena, and bomba. In Spain, this music also combines singing and rapping. The popularity of this genre is slowly spreading to the Latino communities of North America.
Many people make the mistake of thinking regaetton as a type of hip hop or Jamaican dancehall but this is not the case. There is no doubt that this genre of music does take influence from Jamaican dancehall and hip hop, but it has its own particular rhythm and beat. The particular rhythm that is a characteristic of reggaeton is known as dem bow. Keeping in mind the amazing beat and rhythm this genre possess, it is not amazing to see how quickly it has become popular with the teenagers of North America.

Several members of the (COAA) Carousel Organ Association of America were invited to Conner Prairie in Indiana to participate in their Festival of Machines. Members from around the midwest brought their street organs to entertain and educate the public. A great time was had by all!
