I met a chimpanzee and was excited and headed for the second largest national park in Uganda. Located in Queen Ellajabes National Park, the equator. It is Queen Elizabeth National Park, a wildlife paradise and the pride of Uganda. It is a little bigger than Jeju Island, and there are many large and small lakes. It is also an ecological park designated by UNESCO because of the preservation of various flora and fauna. I met the children watching the hippo at the entrance of the village. I am more of a miracle than a hippopotamus. Like the calm lake, the daily life of the village was peaceful and calm. It is a cartwheed salt lake that seems to have tied various colored tiles. It is the largest salt production site in Uganda. When I found the salt lake, there were not many people working. It is said that because of the rain in the wet season, the concentration of salt in the lake is low and it does not work. On the contrary, there is a shortage of dry days in the dry season, so the children are busy to mobilize. In other parts of the world, many people gather here to make money. How much do you spend a day? 400 won, 500 won every day, but every day is different. Salt production in Lake Cartwheel has been around for 500 years. It is the determination of the sweat that a lot of workers have shed. The importance of salt lake can be said in three ways: the first is an important source of income for nearby villagers, the second is to improve the digestion capacity of the livestock through salt, to obtain better quality livestock, But taking the salt is dangerous enough to hurt the workers' body. It is about four times more salty than the sea. I feel the pain of the workers who have to take the risk and go to the salt lake for a living. Uganda is a paradise for birds, so you can easily meet hundreds of birds from any lake. Most of the birds that occupy this place are flamingos. It is not the main habitat, but it is said that the surrounding lake has moved to dry away in the drought. Salt Lake has become the best habitat for flamingos because of its abundant food and the reluctance of other animals to approach it.

How Gulu City Looks Like In 2021 | Northern uganda

How Does Gulu City Looks Like In 2021 | Northern Uganda

Gulu city is a city in Northern Uganda. It is both commercial and administrative centre of Gulu District.

The 2014 population census put the population at 152,276 which is occupied by the acholi people from the luo origin.

The most common language spoken in Gulu city is mainly Luo,English and Kiswahili.

The beautiful and the rates at which Gulu city is growing is non comparable to any districts in the Northern part of Uganda.

I took a tour around gulu city and I was really impressed with the JICA initiative to fund the road projects in the center of gulu city.

Aruu Falls in Pader District | Safari In Uganda

Rambura Safaris took me to Northern Uganda and we stopped by Aruu Falls. We did not know what to expect largely because it was a dry season. So we took the dusty road off Angagura town in Pader district and within 10 minutes,we arrived at this magnificent waterfall. Falling over the rocks,we viewed this from the bottom as we dipped our toes in the cool waters.
You can swim here but at your own risk as the disclaimer is clear.
Aruu falls is located in Northern Uganda on the Gulu – Kitgum highway, 47 Km from Gulu and 57 Km from Kitgum and about 386 Km from Kampala the capital city.

Abseiling Down Sipi Falls in Uganda

The Sipi Falls are arguably the most beautiful waterfalls in Uganda. They are also one of the most visited tourism sites in Uganda. The Sipi Falls consist of 3 waterfalls (Simba, Ngasire) that are separated by steep hillsides in the District of Kapchorwa East of Uganda. The falls are found outside the boundary of Mount Elgon National Park.

Adventure lovers looking for a rush of adrenaline on their visit can abseil/rappel from the top of the 100metre high Sipi Falls, or try climbing on the numerous high cliffs.

Ugandan Beaches, Baboon Monkeys At Karuma Falls & Bridge - Gulu Road Trip | Acholi People Dancing!🇺🇬

Today we woke up in Entebbe, had an easy morning by the beach, then drove all the way to Gulu, Northern Uganda. It took a while but it was a smooth and easy journey which we enjoyed. Roasted Gonja(aka plantains), Chicken, Chapatis, Ugandan Fanta/Sodas & the classic Rwenzori water. We stopped at Luwero for pineapples and fruits and of course crossed Karuma Falls where we came across a family of Baboons! Finally, we arrived in Gulu, and danced the night away haha

World’s MOST POWERFUL waterfall |Murchison Falls

Murchison Falls, also known as Kabalega Falls, is a waterfall between Lake Kyoga and Lake Albert on the Victoria Nile in Uganda. At the top of Murchison Falls, the Nile forces its way through a gap in the rocks, only 7 m (23 ft) wide, and tumbles 43 m (141 ft), before flowing westward into Lake Albert.

World’s Shortest Tribe | The Batwa Pygmies

Hello Awesome people,
Originally, Batwa were forest-dwelling hunter-gatherers based in the Great Lakes region of Central Africa, and are widely accepted as the original inhabitants of the region. As their traditional forest lands and territories fell under the control of agro-industries and conservation agencies, the Batwa became squatters living on the edges of society. The establishment of the Bwindi and Mgahinga National Parks for Mountain Gorillas in 1991 enabled the authorities to evict the Batwa definitely from the forest. The Batwa in Uganda (today) experience systematic and pervasive discrimination from the government and other sectors of society, and their rights as indigenous peoples are neither recognized nor respected.
